Overview

Enjoy an alternative sightseeing experience of Amsterdam on our exciting E-bike tour. Follow a professional guide through the quaint canals and winding cobbled streets of the city to discover an eclectic selection of sights without exerting too much energy :-) On this fantastic 2.5 hour e-bike tour we ride through the old city centre towards the Amstel river, where your English-speaking guide will give you a rundown on crooked buildings, bike filled canals and cover some of Amsterdam's rich history. We'll also explore the unique Jordaan area ( the old working class neighbourhood of the city) and see the Eastern harbour area and the Scheepvaart Museum with its replica of a Dutch East Indies ship. As this tour is on a luxury E-Bike you will not need to spend a lot of energy.

    We'll bike through the lesser know Prinseneilanden with it’s beautiful traditional warehouses and cute white wooden drawbridges

  • The Jordaan (Pass By)

    We cruise through the lovely Jordaan district (the old working class part of the city)

  • Anne Frank House

    we make a stop across from Anne Frank house where the guide will tell you a little more about this famous museum

  • Amstelveld

    The guide will stop at this beautiful square while giving you a nice run down of the canal belt

  • Magere Brug

    We stop on the famous Magere Brug (the Skinny Bridge). where we’ll cover some of Amsterdam’s history and check out the beautiful houseboats.

  • ARTIS Amsterdam Royal Zoo

    time permitting we’ll swing by the Zoo and stop at the Entrepotdok where we can check out some of the wild animals across the water

To bike or not to bike? Definitely try the bike tour!

The Dutch are pretty aggressive with their biking culture. So, a biking tour is a great way, not only to see the city, but to feel more comfortable on the bike than if on your own. We saw great locations around the city, got amazing information and explanations from our guide and thoroughly enjoyed the trip!

An absolute must!

This was the highlight of our weekend. We were led by the wonderful Shakira. Her knowledge, energy and humour made her the perfect host. She quickly struck up a very pleasant rapport with the group and addressed us all by our first names. She led us very ably through the city, sharing her passion for Amsterdam life. Doing this on our first morning in the city helped us get our bearings for areas to visit later in the weekend. We couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough!

Fantastic way to spend the morning! I had an overnight layover, so not a lot of time to see the city. I had asked a friend of mine, he used to live in Amsterdam, what he would recommend, and he said “There’s nothing like riding a bike in Amsterdam.” Turns out, he was right. Couldn’t imagine a better way to see the sights or a more fun experience. Our tour guide, Vicki, was knowledgeable and kept our flock together (not an easy task!) I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a few hours of fun.

We loved our bike tour! Our guide, Shakira, was warm and friendly and took the time to learn everyone’s name. Her directions were clear and easy to follow and she gave us an interesting tour of the city. In a city where everyone cycles everywhere—this is a must do!
