My wife and our two friends had a great time on the kayak tour - the weather was due to be thundery but it was sunshine throughout which was brilliant. It can be tough at times, when paddling against the current - so you feel like you've earned your cevapi afterwards! The scenery is brilliant and the guide was really clear with instructions and kept the group safe at all times. When able during the tour he had some good recommendations of things to do in Belgrade and was very friendly. I mixed up my days and our group arrived a day early . . . which was completely my fault - but still they managed to accommodate us and it didn't impact on the rest of our trip, this was really good of them as they would have been well within their rights to turn us away and we all really appreciated them helping us out when I'd made a massive mistake! Due to the nature of the tour it's worth noting that this isn't guided, as in you won't get a great deal of information as you would on a walking tour. But this is understandable as the guide needs to concentrate on safety far more than on other types of tour.
Our host was Yair. He was knowledgeable and kind, and we loved that he had a great way of making things fun. When a big thunderstorm could have ruined everything, Yair didn't let us down. He told us stories and jokes and answered all the tricky questions. Highly recommend this tour.
A must go trip if you are visiting Serbia. It was so exciting with so many breathtaking views. Great value for money. Our guide Miroslav was really good, he explained everything so beautifully, he is the best. Our driver Milan took us everywhere safely. Overall it was an amazing experience 10/10.
I had a really pleasant time on the food tasting tour with our guide, Sanjin. He was a great guy who took our group to some wonderful spots. He was communicative and answered all of our questions. It was a bit pricey, but I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Belgrade with limited time.
Very informative tour with three main destinations in a beautiful part of Serbia. The van picked the three of us up on time at our residences in Belgrade. Our guide Jelena was very knowledgeable and delivered the perfect narration. Both the van driver and the boat captain were excellent and friendly. The tour was topped off with an excellent meal at a charming restaurant serving traditional Serbian food. The following day, I was contacted by the Tour Office to let me know that I left an item in the van and to arrange to deliver it to our residence. All in all - very impressive. We are sure we will be booking our next tour of Serbia with the same company.
You have to do this tourist a must to see Belgrade in a different way. The guide Angela was amazing and they showed us how to use the e-scooters before embarking on the extensive journey. It’s a great way to experience Belgrade and I highly recommend it. They cover more ground than the walking tours there’s no comparison. They give you helmets and make sure the groups stay together. The routes are safe to navigate. It was my first time on a scooter and I didn’t feel unsafe at any time. I highly recommend this tour!!
Finding Belgrade Walking Tours on our first day in Belgrade was a very lucky break. We started with the Downtown Tour, led by Novi and found it to be absolutely fascinating. In fact, we enjoyed it so much, that we signed up for the Zemun tour in the afternoon (also with Novi) and the 20th Century tour the following day (with Marko). Both guides were excellent - really informative and engaging and we learned so much about Belgrade, Serbia and its complex history. Then, having realised that BWT operated tours outside Belgrade too, we took the Tara National Park tour (with Milos) and the Medieval Serbia tour (with Milos and Michael) - two great opportunities to experience the beauty of the Serbian countryside as well as getting to understand more about the country's history and culture. In addition to being great guides, Milos and Michael were great company - we really enjoyed spending time with them. We would wholeheartedly recommend Belgrade Walking Tours to anyone visiting Belgrade or Serbia more generally. Great insights into the city and the country and great value for money. We'd definitely use BWT if we have the opportunity to visit Serbia again. Thanks Milos and team!
The tour and the tour guide were both great. There was another gentleman with us as well. Lovely man from Boston. We got to see hidden views that a normal tourist would definitely not get to see on their own. The nature and the city are breath taking. The wine tasting was delightful as well! I would absolutely recommend this tour. A wonderful hidden gem.
