Lilongwe is not a city that has a lot for tourists, but this tour took me to some really interesting and hidden parts of it. And between the stops, they explained a lot about Malawi history and culture too. The best part - when they took me to a real hole-in-the-wall place to have the best nsima I've ever had!
It was nice to see mountains within the small city of Lilongwe and experience the culture of Malawians. The guide for this tour was a local and he told us a lot of local tales especially about the Kumbali Cultural Village. We also relished some local food delicacies at a local food market. This tour was unique for us.
