Great Bhutan experience!

I have joined a few private tours recently in Egypt, Cambodia and Dubai but this private tour in Bhutan is the best I have experienced so far! Would definitely recommend this tour agency and guide to my friends and all. We went Bhutan in mid May which is recommended by the tour agency. Mid May is not too cold nor hot and just before the rainy season starts in Bhutan. They arranged a private MPV which is always clean and comfortable (cos our driver will ensure that), a driver and a tour guide for 4 of us for our 7 days 6 nights tour. Our tour guide is very nice and thoughtful. He would take note of our meal preference and also pay attention to what we like or dislike. He would then take his initiative to incorporate new dishes like local steam fishes, pork or beef etc into our meals for us to try. Also he would surprise us with tea and biscuits at the end of our hikes and local costumes for us to take nice pictures! Also kudo to our driver who carries all these up the mountain for us. We met alot of other tour groups but I have never seen them having such special arrangements like us. Another thing that we like about this tour is they will bring you to the must go places in Bhutan and yet they will give you a deeper experience about the real Bhutan. The other attractions we went are less crowded and we get to interact with the monks and locals. Also they will prepare some simple hikes during first few days to prep us for our finale which is the tiger nest at the 2nd last day of our tour. This helps us adapt to the high altitude and train us for our final big hike. We are really grateful for their thoughtfulness! Thanks to Sangay (our tour guide) and Pema Dorji (our driver) for this wonderful Bhutan experience! Also thanks to Bhutan Best Travel and Jaclyn for the suggested itinerary and visa, flight and hotel arrangements!

Unforgettable trip to Bhutan!

Traveling to Bhutan with OMSHA Travel was an unforgettable experience, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! From the very beginning, Nawang was absolutely wonderful to work with—responsive, kind, very organized, and offered us the best price by far. Planning a trip can be stressful, but Nawang made it seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. Once we arrived in Bhutan, every single day was filled with fun, beautiful landscapes, and meaningful cultural experiences. Our guide, Lobzang, was a true gem—patient, funny, kind, and incredibly attentive to our needs and preferences. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the journey. His thoughtful guidance and good humor added so much to our experience. He was incredibly patient as he answered all of our questions about the country and Buddhism. Thanks to OMSHA Travel, Bhutan was more than just a destination—it was a deeply enriching adventure. I would definitely book with Nawang again and already find myself dreaming of a return to beautiful Bhutan. Thank you for making this such a memorable experience!

Wonderful 9-Day Tour of Bhutan – Great Team!

I did the 9-day tour through Bhutan and had an incredible experience — thanks in large part to the amazing Acorn team who took care of everything. First of all, I have to say: the driver, Gyeltshen, really stood out. I’ve never experienced such a skilled driver — he completely mastered the winding mountain roads and made me feel safe and comfortable at all times. That alone made a huge difference during the long drives. My guide, Sonam, was calm, knowledgeable, and shared great insights throughout the trip. Everything was well organised, the pace was perfect, and I felt really well taken care of. Highly recommended if you're looking for a thoughtful, well-run way to experience Bhutan! Thank you, Bhutan Acorn!

A remarkable Bhutan adventure!

I recently joined a 7-day tour with Druk Asia (Soul Trip), and it was truly unforgettable. Everything was so well-organized, giving us the chance to fully enjoy Bhutan’s breathtaking landscapes and rich culture. Our guide, Dorji Tshering, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, while our driver, Chimi, kept us safe and comfortable on the winding mountain roads. A big thanks to Evelyn Ong Mee Mee from Singapore for planning the trip so perfectly. Druk Asia really went the extra mile with thoughtful local stops and authentic food experiences. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to explore Bhutan in a deep, meaningful, and comfortable way.

A journey I’ll always carry in my heart

Thank you, Omsha Travel, for crafting such a meaningful and spiritually aligned experience in Bhutan. From start to finish, everything was planned with care, clarity, and deep understanding of what I was seeking. Special thanks to Nawang for designing a trip that went far beyond sightseeing. It was a true inner pilgrimage, and one I will always remember. I’m especially grateful to Pema, an extraordinary guide who opened the doors to the soul of Bhutan with authenticity and kindness, and to Tashi, the best driver I could have asked for—safe, attentive, and full of good energy throughout the journey. With all my heart, thank you. – Cristian

Excellent customer service and professional guidance.

Excellent experience with professional guidance; our guide Namgay Dorji and driver Sonam made our trip memorable. In addition to all the destinations in Thimpu, Punakha and Paro we had a adventurous trekking trip to Tiger nest.

12D amazing indept tour of Bhutan

We had an amazing 12 full days tour of Bhutan, with our professional Guide Sonam, and skillful driver, Dawa. We journeyed from Paro, to Thimphu, Punakha, Trongsa, Bumthang, Ura (a surprised addition), Phobjikha and Haa. The landscape was breath taking, and so were the occasional high altitude effects that threatened to take our breath away too! Our interaction with the local friendly folks and enthusiastic visitors from other countries, have to be the most captivating memory of our trip. Thanks to Ms Khusala of Bhutan Travel Club for the flawless program, and her attentiveness to our enquiries at the planning stage. We highly recommend Bhutan Travel Club!

Interesting trip

The trip was very well planned and the company was very good at communication which made us feel very reassured. The country was beautiful with fantastic scenery and wildlife. All the hotels were fine for us, clean, tidy, good beds and friendly staff. Namgay is an absolutely brilliant bird guide and a very nice person. He was very attentive, kind and thoughtful. The driver was a very good and we always felt safe. From the minute we met the driver he was coughing and he seemed unwell. We now feel in retrospect that he should not have been driving on this trip. If that was not possible he should at the very least have been wearing a mask whilst driving, which he did not. Within a few days we were both ill with a respiratory infection and over time we got considerably worse requiring a visit to hospital for medication. What should have been a trip of a lifetime ended up being an endurance test & we had to cut short several days birding as we were so ill. The company owner has since replied to our concerns and assured us that company policy has been changed so that such things will not happen again.

A Phenomenal Experience a All Around.

I had an absolutely phenomenal time in Bhutan on the Best of Bhutan tour. My guide, Ugyen, and driver, Mr. Chita, were excellent. They were both exceptionally accommodating if I ever wanted to pull over and take a picture or try Bhutanese cuisine. They both dedicated themselves thoroughly to me having the best experience possible. I came to Bhutan with some specific requests, as I was traveling on an art fellowship, and they prioritized carving out time for me to draw and take pictures along the tour. Ugyen’s knowledge of Bhutanese history was great and he was able to answer any of my questions during my visits regarding art, artifacts, and buildings. He even organized an interview with a monk, which was well beyond my expectations for the trip. I had the opportunity to stay at three different three star hotels and the monastery. My stay stay at the Dodedrak monastery was probably the highlight of my trip, but Paro Taktsang and Punakha Dzong were also splendid. Of my hotels, I was very impressed with City Heritage and Silver Cloud, which I would honestly rate well above three stars for service, food, and accommodations. Everywhere in the country the people were kind and the service was exceptional, from Ugyen and Mr. Chita, to the the more organized lunch places and even the local places Ugyen took me to. I think what was truly remarkable about Ugyen is he understood my interests in being in Bhutan and catered to them, taking me to local Momo spots (which were both phenomenal) and places were I could find Yaks and Wild Langur’s, going beyond the itinerary. I would highly recommend this tour and you would be quite fortunate to have Ugyen as your guide!

Magical Bhutan, great people.

Bhutan is a magical place and a great place for a family holiday with amazing cultural experiences and natural beauty to satisfy everyone. The most impressive part is the hard work put in by the guides, drivers to cater to needs and wishes of all the hordes of noisy tourists We were really lucky to have an outstanding guide Tshering Wangdi and great driver- Kinga. Tshering was so careful and thoughtful in his insights and patiently guided us through an entire week in Bhutan and it was a great experience. Full marks to Tshering and his agency for the great work. Highly recommend him.

Stunning Bhutan day hikes and cultural discovery trip

My husband and I joined two friends on a 10 day cultural discovery and day hike tour in Bhutan. The trip was well organised by Third Rock Adventures and our guide Ugyen was first class. He was very knowledgable and taught us a great deal about the Buddhist culture and ancient landmarks, answering our many questions throughout the trip. Our driver, Gele, was superb, professionally navigating our minibus, collecting and safely returning us to our overnight accommodation each day. The trip itself was wonderful and we will take many happy memories away with us of the hikes, monasteries, including Tiger’s Nest, hot stone baths and even an introduction to archery. Would highly recommend this trip.

Very easygoing and great trip

We trusted eachother from the first moment and they were very flexible even if we wanted to have changes in our program. Our guide was really nice and openminded person. We travelled together 8 days and he had always great mood and sense of humor.

Our short trip to Bhutan- May’25

I would like to rate this a complete 5 on 5, for a fantastic tour curated by the wonderful Khusala Chetri. Our plan to visit Bhutan was at the last minute, and she helped us plan the trip wonderfully, understanding the kind of trip we were looking for and curating them accordingly. She even kept on checking at every moment on our comfort and went beyond trying to help when there was a geopolitical situation affecting our travel plan. The next shout out would be for our driver Tshering, even our guide Tshewang was good. It was our anniversary and BTC ensured we get a special treat and planned a celebration on our Anniversary day. Bhutan was always on our bucket list and we plan to travel again with BTC. Thank you once again Khusala.

Great Experience - Excellent Team

We had a fantastic experience in Bhutan, and with the OMSHA team. Our guide (Tashi) and driver (Sanju) were great. Incredible helpful, timely, knowledgeable of the sites and things to do. Would go with them again. Only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer. Not so secret tip, ask Sanju to take you to his cousins restaurant in Paro - best Momo’s we had in South Asia.

Customized tour Bhutan with hike to Tigers Nest

We had two guides with us who met us at Paro Airport. They were excellent and very knowledgeable. Always providing us with water to hydrate in the van. Their knowledge of the history of Bhutan and Buddhism was incredible and so interesting. The country is so fascinating and amazing. We loved exploring the markets and temples. We also hiked to Tigers Nest. A couple in our group were not as fit as the other two and the two guides were instrumental in getting us to our destination. They made sure we never felt like a burden. We had the Himalaya hot stone bath to recover and heal our weary muscles after. Which was very effective. The food was amazing and gave us an example of food eaten in Bhutan. Another fascinating adventure for us. I would highly recommend our guide and driver. They absolutely made our trip and allowed us to explore Bhutanese culture and your beautiful country. We were lucky with the weather and our custom tour was adjusted to maximize views of the Himalaya mountains and best experiences of Bhutan. My only regret was not spending more time in Bhutan. I live in Florida USA, which is at sea level. So being at higher altitudes was noticeable when hiking for me. However both guides never made me feel as slow as I felt. They had ultimate patience and assistance making our hiking adventures memorable and enjoyable. However they also managed to make sure the faster hikers were taken care of and guided. The guides could travel very fast up and down the hiking treks. I’ll be back. Thank you so much. Bhutan is the happiest and most beautiful country I have ever visited. Bhutan has so much to offer year round. I fell in love with Bhutan.

More than MTB tour, they are Bhutan's conscience

Let me share what I experienced there. When I arrived at Paro and preparing my bike, I found my dropper post didn't work and feel disappointed imagining I cannot use this when I decending. After consulting this issue with chief guide(SP) he removed it and tried to fix by next morning. Unfortunately, there was no replacement part he couldn't fix it. But he never gave up and try to find same size one from Bhutan MTB community then he finally found it ! I was really happy to continue my trip without any trouble, and route was also great! I visited many countries for MTB riding and I can say Bhutan is one no best place for MTB and riding in Bhutan is once in a lifetime event for me.

One for the books!

Bhutan is so magical. Happy Place Expedition made our trip smooth and easy. We just went with the flow, and let our guide show us Bhutan which was what I believe made our experience incredible. We didn’t worry about our itinerary & followed our hearts. We only asked our guide, SP what is the weather if we were going to need a Jacket or not, or if we’re hiking that day or not. We start our days ready for anything Bhutan was going to show us. We went to Thimphu, Phunaka, & Paro. All had its own charm and all amazing. Our guide, SP is well informed, made us feel at ease, and accommodated our requests. He even sang a Bhutanese song upon our request when we realized he had such a soothing voice. That was so kind of him. Jimmy, our driver, is a really good driver. I really enjoyed our trips. He’s so considerate and even slows down when he sees me wanting to get a good picture or video. He’s so mindful at keeping us safe. It’s so lovely of Nima, the owner, to join us the day before we left. We went to Tiger’s nest hike that day, some shopping in town, rented Bhutanese national clothing.. Kira for women and Goh for men. He even shared with us their hot stone bath which really ended our day perfectly. All in all, I’m so glad we went on the tour with Happy Place Expedition. Thank you to Nima, SP, & Jimmy from Happy Place. We miss Bhutan already!

Exceptional Experience with OMSHA TRAVEL – Highly Recommended!

From the moment I started planning my trip to Bhutan, OMSHA TRAVEL provided outstanding service. I truly appreciate the prompt responses from Nawang and the reasonable quotations offered. What surprised us the most was their flexible payment options, including the "Book Now & Pay Later", absolutely hassle-free. They even handled our e-Visa application without any advance payment. Remarkably, we weren’t charged a single penny until the last day of the tour. Thank you for placing such trust in your clients, it speaks volumes about your professionalism. Our 6D5N tour was nothing short of amazing, covering breathtaking sights across Thimphu, Phobjikha Valley, Punakha, and Paro. Initially, Phobjikha Valley wasn’t in our itinerary, but we’re so grateful that Nawang suggested it, especially since we love nature photography, it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! A special thanks to our tour guide Sonam, and chauffeur Tshering, for their excellent service. Their efforts made our journey truly unforgettable. We deeply appreciate how they shared Bhutan’s beauty and culture with us, along with their kindness, guidance, and friendly support. Sonam tirelessly helped us capture photos and videos at every scenic spot. We’re also truly grateful for the special birthday arrangements for my wife, it was even more wonderful than we had hoped! Nawang, thank you again for the thoughtful gifts; your generosity touched our hearts. As we left the "Happiest Country," we carried with us countless happy memories, laughter, and a deep appreciation for Bhutan’s culture and people. Wishing OMSHA TRAVEL continued success, we highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Bhutan!

Awe-inspiring Trip!

Incredible! I feel so fortunate that I chose Bhutan Acorn for my trip. From the quality of communications which were always timely and considerate to the warmth of the welcome and support the guides provided me, it was an unforgettable experience. The company knew this was a special experience for me and did everything they could and more to make it great. They allowed me to adjust the schedule within reason so I could spend time with family friends, provided additional recommendations and experiences based on my interests, and held a range of interesting friendly conversations throughout my experience. As a solo traveller, I can't express how grateful I am for the way the guides supported me and made me feel like one of their own. But, it was the little things they did that really stood out. For example, nearing the end of our trek, we discussed favourite foods after multiday treks (pizza and beer for me) and things we look forward to such as hot showers and your own bed of course. And to my delight the guides had organised a surprise pizza and beer picnic by a river on our return to Thimphu! Simple and thoughtful kind acts like this is what made my experience with this company so special. They're a family-oriented group, which evident in all their work and how they treat people. Of course, the trek through the Himalayas was awe inspiring, but I'll remember the people the most thanks to their warm hospitality and how they educated me about their rich culture.
