Many thanks to Regis for an outstanding tour of the Somme. We saw both sides of the battlefield, the English/French line and the German line so got a real feel for the distance the the men had to walk through the area called no-mans-land. Also saw probably the last German bunker still standing from WW1, the American and the German war cemeteries, and the most enormous crater caused by a shell ever seen in either WW1 or WW11. There was more including an art installation mural and throughout it all Regis offered information in a historically interesting and professional way. I strongly urge anyone interested in the history of the world wars to take this tour.
