Overview

Simply the best “Introductory Tour” covering “Inner City Highlights”. The tour also works for day-time layovers of min. 7hrs. starting at the Hilton Park Hotel (mark as special request). "Walk Vienna with Friends" is the motto we live. We meet our guests at their "doorstep" - at all hotels/vacation homes in town and at the city pier or main train station. This way we eliminate the hassle in finding meeting points. Other meeting points can be arranged! This half-day tour introduces three mayor attraction in Vienna – Belvedere Hill, the monumental parts of the Ring boulevard/Hofburg and St. Stephen’s cathedral in the heart of the city. We introduce our efficient, simple and save public transportation system. This Private Walking-Tour is perfect for individual travelers and small groups and can be adjusted to accommodate personal preferences. After booking we provide planning help even beyond bookable services.

    A scenic tram-ride along the “Golden Mile” of the Ring boulevard, past the Soviet Monument, Staatsoper, Mueseum Quarter to Rathausplatz.

    Rathausplatz Rathausplatz is surrounded by city hall, university, Burgtheater and Freud’s favorite café. There in summer you’ll find the food & music film festival, before Christmas the largest of Vienna’s many Christmas markets followed by the “Ice Dream”

An Excellent SnapShot of Lovely Vienna

Despite a chilly damp morning, we greatly enjoyed our first look at Vienna with Brigitte as our guide. She met us at our hotel and led us to Belvedere Castle, then we trammed over to the Hofburg Palace (paused to take in some sort of big diplomatic to-do, with many limos and a military marching band), through the grand gates up to trendy Graben and concluded at Stephansdom/St. Stephen's Cathedral. Brigitte was very knowledgeable and quite fun; like being guided around by your favorite aunt! Plus, she had restaurant suggestions, and even made a reservation for us that night. Definitely went above and beyond!

We had a fantastic Tour! Our guide met us at our hotel and took us on an exceptional tour with great depth of knowledge and history. Flexible just begins to describe our experience, our kids needed to stop for a snack and then a new pair of shoes, lol, because my sons shoes didn't fit right. Despite, everything was smooth and easy and we had a great experience while learning so much. Thank you!

It was an amazing experience with Brigitte. She’s an exceptional guide, with a huge knowledge about Vienna and his history, and she’s trying to pass on her knowledge. Moreover she can skip from Spanish to English in a second. I would recommend this activity to everyone who wants to discover Vienna.
