We hired Indrejeet initially to do our Morning tour on the Ganges. Because of flooding the boat tour was changed to a walking tour of the city. Although I was disappointed at first, the walking tour turned out to be one of the best overall city tours I have had. Indrajeet was an excellent guide and took us through the ghats and temples, Explaining the extensive history history and religious background of what we were seeing. It made it a truly significant experience. At the end of our walking tour,Indrajeet offered to take us on a tour of Sarnath which is where the Buddha delivered his first sermon. It is one of the holiest places in the world for Buddhists. Indrajeet was a great guide offering important information about the architecture and meaning of what we were seeing. I would absolutely recommend him as a guide.

I recently did a day tour of Varanasi. Our tour guide was Prakash Chaubey. He was fantastic. Prakash has an incredible knowledge of the EVERYTHING! His day tour was a perfect mix . I couldn’t believe the total cultural immersion in just a day !!! Prakash made sure we experienced everything possible - and at an ideal pace. Our tour had everything from : 1) an early morning at the Ganges (which included a boat ride) ; 2) a walking tour through the city with the highlight being the hidden cultural treasures down the secluded laneways. 3) beautiful food; 4) the religious ceremony in the evening back at the Ganges. Prakash is a truly knowledgeable guide and any request for anything was accepted. I’m sure our tour was one of the best on offer. Prakash took us deep into the laneways of the city to see the real Varanasi. I doubt you would get that on other tours —- we certainly didn’t see any others tours in the hidden areas we were. The guide was waiting in the hotel foyer at the time we chose (communication was via WhatsApp the day before the scheduled tour) He spoke good English and took us places we would never have found by ourselves, giving us the confidence to return by ourselves on later days. He explained what we were seeing and answered all our questions, and the three hours flew by. We can highly recommend this tour.

I discovered Varanasi through a walk with Raghaw Rahi, a very professional and friendly guide. I got to know unimaginable places, hidden traditions, amazing people, and, above all, a living city. That's how I fell in love with Varanasi.

I really enjoyed this tour it was not rushed so that walking along the ghats one had plenty of time to absorb the atmosphere. Walking through the narrow alleyways while encountering cows and monkeys was great fun.
