Our tours will take you to a magnificent Sunset with Ganga Aarti (Praying to the God of the river –The Ganges) where life starts at the bank of Mother Ganga with morning eye-opener prayers by the scared priest, you can enjoy these spectacular scenes on the boat. This is a lifetime cultural experience to not MISS! While at the same places while exploring cultural heritage you will find THE END of life at Manikarnika Ghat where people are burning the dead body of loved ones. Our tours will bring you to the life and death experiences at the cultural heritage sites of Mother Ganges.

Assi Ghat

We welcome our traveler here at Green Ganga Café just opposite of Assi Ghat Entrance points. We will also start watching Evening Ganga Aarti from here and we will take a boat ride to popular Ghats (Pier ) of Varanasi.

Dasaswamedh Ghat

Dashashwamedha Ghat is the main Ghat in Varanasi on the Ganga River. It is located close to Vishwanath Temple and is probably the most spectacular Ghat. Two Hindu legends are associated with it: According to one, Lord Brahma created it to welcome Lord Shiva.

The view of Manikarnika Ghat was amazing, and will take you to the different world …. 24 hrs burning of dead bodies has a different connotation which is beyond expressions.

A must do experience offering a different t perspective

After having seen the Aarti and other sights from walking along the banks and ghats, this boating tour offered a fresh and different perspective. Amongst the numerous boats on the river, you get to see it all. It was great being able to make an offering from the boat to the wonderful river. Our guide was knowledge, friendly and great communicator. It was safe and comfortable.

Varanasi where your heart and soul meets

Varanasi is beautiful in the winters. The gaga Aarti at Assi ghat in the morning is over rated. The boat ride upto Namo ghat in the morning and evening is a must as it’s different experience. The mankarnika ghat has become tourist attraction, however the energy is very different their and do not go without proper preparation and information. Check YouTube for that. We stayed at this beautiful Ashirwad home stay , wonderful place and wonderful service. Must check out if you are looking for home away from home. Close to most areas and away from the noise of Varanasi. Kashi Vishwanath was the highlight of the trip. Do go for the mangala aarti at 2 am. Worth it. It’s a food paradise and go with local recommendations. Don’t forget to have Banarasi paan.

The first day in Varanasi with Rahul was amazing! Varanasi can be a bit overwhelming and Rahul made the experience super peaceful and friendly. The boat ride at sunset was simply beautiful. He knows so much about the city, meditation, and spirituality (if you are on that path). The cherry of the day: after the tour, he showed me some hidden city gems. Things and places that you won't find by yourself for sure.

Rahul was a fantastic and very knowledgeable host. Not only was the boat trip a great way to see the sights, Rahul also shared some of his own secret spots. He was very attentive and stayed with us well after the allocated tour time to make sure we saw the fire ceremony and safely to a car in all of the evening madness. Thoroughly recommend.
