    One of the most emblematic points of Cartagena is undoubtedly the monument of "Old Shoes" in honor of the centenary of the death of the Poet Luis Carlos López who pays tribute to his Poem "My Native City". Here you will find a pair of giant shoes where you can take some incredible photos and immerse yourself in the pure history of Cartagena.

    Built in 1657 during the Spanish viceregal era, the Fort of San Felipe de Barajas is a construction part of the history of the walled city and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage list. It is considered one of the 7 wonders of Cartagena and is Cultural and Historical Heritage of Colombia.

    Tour inside the Walled City National Heritage of Colombia and Historical Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. We will visit San Pedro Square and its church, Plaza de la Aduana and the Mayor's Office. We end our City Tour in the Clock Tower Square. At your personal decision, you can go to your hotel in the chiva or you can continue your walk on your own from this point.

Vibrant and Educational City Tour on a Traditional Chiva Bus

This tour was an amazing experience, offering a unique way to explore the city aboard a traditional, colorful chiva bus. The journey takes you to several iconic spots, providing a rich historical background at each stop. There are countless opportunities to capture stunning photos, making it a visual treat. Be prepared for quite a bit of walking, so comfortable tennis shoes are a must. Also, with the intense heat, bringing a hat and staying hydrated is essential. While there are persistent street vendors along the way, it doesn’t detract from the overall experience of this fascinating city tour. Highly recommended!

We contac this guys trought a friend recommendation and we took the tour last august 2023 this was very acknowledge tour to cartagena we saw many historic places like de Castle and the Old Shoes sculpture, and many other amazing things, we are pleaced to recommend this tour.

This was one of our most especial tour at Cartagena´s City , we saw all the historic places and the explanation of them give us and idea of the Cartagena´s history . We Shared the tour in a Chiva that is the tradittional vehicule for city tours, but there is an option of a Private tour too.
