Overview

You will start the tasting with the Bicerin, the traditional drink whose recipe was and still is consumed in the '800 century cafès. You will walk through the main buildings and street of Turin and you will see hidden details. You will then move on to one of the best chocolate shops to explore how local chocolate makers have worked fine cocoa for our happiness. Sampling a selection of traditional chocolates like Gianduiotto, Cremino and a seasonal pralines. Gianduja has a fascinating history, originating in Turin and dating back to the 19th century when cocoa was scarce and expensive. The chocolate tasting will continue and you will try premium dark made with fine cocoa, that is just the 10% of the whole world production. The tastings will be 100% organic and “bean to bar” products. Come hungry, thirsty, and excited to learn new things, and ready to explore the sweet side of Turin. Ideal for couples, family with kids and group of friends.

    Piazza Vittorio Veneto is a large and historic square in the center of Turin, surrounded by Baroque buildings, cafes, and restaurants. It is dominated by the Church of Gran Madre di Dio and offers a vibrant and lively atmosphere, especially in the evening. At the heart of the square stands the equestrian statue of Emanuele Filiberto, Duke of Savoy, a prominent figure in Turin's history. Flanked by twin churches, the Church of San Carlo and the Church of Santa Cristina, the square is a stunning example of baroque architecture. Piazza San Carlo is not only a picturesque destination but also a hub of activity. Locals gather here to socialize, enjoy a coffee at one of the many cafes, or simply soak in the beauty of their surroundings. Fantastic and inspiring ! Me and my partner took the tour in the afternoon with Fabio and had a wonderful time. Fabio was very charismatic and friendly, has a background in food tasting and culture, the perfect guide ! He explained the history of bicerin and the cafe, along with a commentary on our way to the second chocolate place. He provided both quality and quantity and had an extensive knowledge of all the chocolates offered. I would highly recommend this tour with Fabio and it was the perfect end to our holiday :)
