Overview

This tour is a panoramic private view of the city. We will be able to see the most interesting monuments and viewpoints of the city, which you could hardly go to on your own. We will even see some hidden gem. The tour will be in a luxury car. The tour will start at your hotel/apartment, and will continue through the Plaza de España, National Palace, Olympic Stadium, Mirador del Alcalde, Barceloneta beach, La Rambla, Passeig de Gracia, Casa Batlló, Casa Milá and Sagrada Familia. We can modify completely the tour and adapt it to your interests. We can also extend it and include visits to Park Güell and the Sagrada Familia. If you wish, ask me about the availability and cost of the modifications. The extended 6 hours tour includes a walking tour in the Gothic Quarter and a stop for lunch. During reservation, there is the option of guided tour or only driver. The guide is a local professional guide. In the non guided tour, the driver will stop at the main monuments of the city, and you will have time to walk around and take pictures by yourself.

La Familia

The most memorable part of my self tour was the amazing sight of the La Familia Sagrada. To behold such a magnificent structure that is still being built is unbelievable!

Albert, a true gentleman

I and my sister-in-law (both elderly) visited Barcelona for a cruise and engaged Albert's company to take us from our hotel to the cruise ship at the start of the cruise and again to pick us up following the cruise for a short tour of Barcelona and then to the airport. We could not have been happier with Albert's services and attention, from the booking process right through to his farewell hug at the airport. He advised us that he is currently having difficulties, as are most of the private driver companies in Barcelona, with the taxi drivers trying to block competition from private operators, who need a special licence to enter the port area. Despite these difficulties, Albert was able to organise a licensed driver to take us to the ship, and he and a driver picked us up after the cruise. Albert was most obliging, taking us wherever we wanted to go, including stopping for water and then the best coffee I'd had since before the cruise (ship coffee is always awful!). He was very knowledgeable about Barcelona and the highlight for me was a revisit of Sagrada Familia, and a first view of Casa Batllo. We felt entirely safe and cared for by Albert, who even sent a message to check that we had arrived home safely - a true gentleman!

Albert was our private driver in Barcelona for 2 days and was exceptional. He is knowledgeable, very friendly, an excellent driver, courteous and caring! He took us everywhere we wanted and set our itinerary precisely. Thank you, Albert!!

Highly recommend a tour with Albert. He is very knowledgeable and responds quickly. Unfortunately we had limited time due to our travel plans but Albert made the most of our experiences at Park Guell and Sagrada Familia. Wish we had more time to spend but definitely planning a return trip in the future and will enlist his services again! John and Gail
