Takayama features an atmospheric townscape, with Meiji-era inns and hillside shrines in a riverside setting. In addition, many museums, galleries and temples make their home in the city's 17th century layout. Great day out in Takayama

Akane was very knowledgable and had planned a really lovely day out for us in takayama. She seemed to know everyone in the town and showed us all the local highlights, food places and crafts shops.

Annie is an amazing guide……… the best Takayama experience.

We had a great 4 hours with Annie in Takayama. She showed us the local special places and listened to what we asked to see. Her local knowledge allowed us to see and visit sights we would have missed had we done the walking tour solo by ourselves. Annie was fun, delightful and left we Takayama with a new friend. Make sure you ask for Annie when making your Takayama tour guide booking.
