Simply the best way to experience the sunsets over the floating villages on the tonle sap lake, this unique Riverboat cruise is great for families, groups or single travelers. Experience the floating villages and then relax on the famous Queen Tara Riverboat, is in itself a unique vessel, being 100 years old , she is an ex cargo boat that has a deep history of plying both the Mekong and Tonle Sap Rivers,lovingly restored,she is certainly a great place to relax and unwind enjoying the cool lake breezes whilst enjoying the unrivaled views of the lake while you watch the sunset in style, enjoying the inclusive buffet meal or fixed menu and unlimited drinks. Drinks include cocktails,wines red and white, beers, spirits, soft drinks and tea/coffee all part of the cruise, on route we have 2 quick stops,first at the beautiful lotus farm and than the floating fish farm, With hotel pickup and drop-off by our professional Tara lake guide, this is a hassle free way to enjoy the floating villages.

What an experience

What an experience ! Do not miss the opportunity to know more about beautiful Cambodia and its beautiful people! This trip for me was about knowing little more about Cambodia and its people than its sunset.

Amazing sunset view and delicious food on an anchored boat

It was a beautiful, warm, clear day and so the view of the sunset was spectacular. We started by taking a boat to an alligator farm where they offer snacks for sale as well as alligator products like belts, wallets, and purses. Then they take you to the sunset boat where there’s an open bar, good music, and delicious food. Just a heads up, the sunset boat doesn’t go anywhere you just go to the boat and it stays anchored. But it’s located so that the view is great.

Definitely a tour worth your time and money.

Fantastic tour. You get taken by mini van from your hotel to the dock, then by small boat to see a floating village and stop to see crocodiles, then continue out to the moored river boat to have dinner and watch the sunset. Astonishingly we were the only people on the boat and we were surprised they still ran the tour . Everyone was attentive and it was great, food was good and very well priced.

This was the second time I booked the "Queen Tara" Sunset Dinner and Tonl Sap River Cruise. The first time, in 2018, was with a large group and inattentive guide. This time was during the off season, and we unexpectedly had a private tour. Our guide this time, Tino, was wonderfully engaged and he has never failed to thrill and impress me. His depth of knowledge of the facts regarding the river mechanics and engineering and the village culture on the river was amazing. He made the afternoon and evening interesting and exciting, and much too short of an experience. I have traveled to over 60 countries and I can honestly say that Tino is truly a world-class guide that makes touring Cambodia an adventure worth repeating.
