Meet on the LITTLE REGENT STREET laneway entrance into the Mercure Central Sydney around the corner from George St. Listen for your name as this is how your guide will identify you. Departs: 10:00am (winter) / 12:00pm (summer). Alternatively pickup location are available by calling our office.

    Enjoy a lie in as we departure from Sydney late morning, missing the peak hour traffic so we can get to the Blue Mountains faster. Offering 4 major pickups locations within inner Sydney CBD.

  • Glenbrook

    Brief convenience break in Glenbrook so passengers can grab a coffee shop (not included), before we head into the picturesque wilderness of the Blue Mountains.

  • Leura

    Our journey begins with a quick refreshment stop in the charming towns of Glenbrook or Leura, the gateway to the Blue Mountains. These picturesque villages are full of character, offering a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Guests can explore local cafes and boutique shops and purchase something to eat at their own expense while soaking up the historic charm of these iconic mountain towns.

  • Wentworth Falls

    Next, we’ll explore the stunning Jamison Valley, a major scenic attraction known for its breathtaking valley and canyon views. We’ll get up close to the iconic sandstone formation, the Three Sisters, and hike along impressive bush trails toward one of New South Wales’ most awe-inspiring waterfalls. Then, embark on a 90-minute nature walk down to the base of Wentworth Falls—equivalent to 8 flights of stairs down and back up—as you immerse yourself in the lush native forests and the soothing sound of cascading water.

  • Katoomba Cascades

    Afterwards, we’ll set out on a scenic bush exploration as we search for kangaroos in the wild. Many of Australia’s native animals are most active during the dusk hours, making this the perfect opportunity to spot kangaroos hopping through the underbrush or grazing in open fields.

  • Echo Point Lookout

    Finally, we’ll visit either Echo Point or Lincoln’s Rock, two of the most iconic viewing spots in the Blue Mountains. Here, you’ll settle in to watch the sun sink behind the distant mountains, casting dramatic shadows over the rock formations, eucalyptus forests, and valleys. The panoramic views are simply unforgettable—a perfect way to end a day of exploration.

  • A moderate level of fitness is required to complete the hikes included on this tour, which involve walks to lookout views and the stairs to and from Wentworth Falls (approximately 8 flights of stairs, 90 minute walk).

Gorgeous sunset views

The blue mountains were phenomenal and Smokey was a great guide. I’m from Melbourne, so we had a bit of banter and the rest of the tour group was so lovely too. Smokey really made the trip enjoyable, giving us the history and information about where we visited and really looked after us to make sure we saw the good parts and got great photos and memories to share. Watching the sunset at Echo Point was nothing short of magical.

There is a fair bit of walking throughout the day, some of it quite steep, but you have the option to do as much, or as little as you want. The scenery is stunning and lots of interesting information given by Derek, our tour guide. It's a nice mix of being guided and having time to explore and enjoy the scenery on your own. The bus is comfortable and has huge tinted windows for viewing. All in all a tiring, yet restorative day that we enjoyed very much: Thanks Derek!

The hike was beautiful and very scenic. I would recommend that only fairly fit, stable footed people would enjoy it though. Our party was all 55-60 y/o’s & active and fit but it was taxing.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit the Blue Mountains! Through this tour, I was able to witness breathtaking views, meet wonderful people, and create memories that will last a lifetime. It was a magical, fulfilling day that felt like a dream. The tour allows you to enjoy the Blue Mountains from various perspectives. Every moment was stunning, and the experience of walking through the majestic mountains, sacred waterfalls, and enormous rock formations was truly incredible. I felt the power of nature over and over again. Our tour guide, Derek, shared fascinating historical stories, and listening to his personal experiences was also very enjoyable. He was open-minded and friendly, creating a relaxed atmosphere where everyone, including myself, could fully enjoy the tour. I’m truly grateful to him!! The Blue Mountains at sunset were absolutely magical. Endless mountain ranges, the setting sun, and the orange and blue sky—it was a moment of pure happiness as everyone enjoyed the scene together. Photos may capture the beauty, but those special moments are something you must see with your own eyes and feel with your whole being.
