We offer complete flexibility to our guests, stay as long as you like at the destinations you love and avoid the one's you'd rather miss. We go places they can’t go enjoying the tranquillity of nature with no crowds, no traffic. The title of this tour is no mistake, we really do 'Escape The Crowds'. We'll do wildlife spotting deep into the national park. We also offer a condensed version departing at 12:00 PM with less stops for same day bookings and late arrivals into Sydney. Scenic world optional, not recommended to do length of queues. River cruise optional, not recommended due to time involved to return to city, we get you to your hotel much quicker. Itinerary

Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park

Optional for Private Tour or Included in Small Group (Shared) tour. This is recommend visiting this park in the morning on route to the Blue Mountains. This is your chance to get to know up close and personal native Australian Wildlife including, Kangaroos, Pademelons, Wallaby, Koalas, Dingoes, plus many more. Take your time or make it quick, it's up to you as the day is yours to remember at your leisure and pace. Not recommended on late start tour due to timing. Full day option only. This is an optional stop not included in the price of the tour please advise if you’d like to visit this park.

Glenbrook

As we pass the lower mountains villages, we'll stop here if we have not covered Featherdale. We may suggest an optional visit into The Lower blue Mountains National Park where very few others venture to. You'll be surrounded by lush bushland and listen to nothing but the birds and wildlife including Kookaburras, Cockatoos, Magpies even cicadas during summer. Enjoy the sounds of the Australian Bush here in the lower mountains national park. This is a real Escape from the Crowds. We may consider a quick coffee here or make a dash for the upper mountains. Depending on your choices, this may/may not be included. As this venue is only accessible crossing a water causeway, this may not be available following heavy rain. Optional town visit showcasing the diversity of the charming villages.

Wentworth Falls

This is the most spectacular waterfall in the mountains and a must-see when visiting this region. Get photography tips using your iPhone with long exposure waterfall photography then we'll take a walk to look over the falls with an optional extension to the bottom. These views are spectacular! How far we go here is up to you.. Depending on your level of fitness this may or may/not be included in the tour for passengers looking for more of a driving tour with less walking. Fancy a swim in the warmer months? Bring your swimmers for a dip in the pool under the waterfall, it'll be a moment you'll never forget.

Leura

This mountain village is a popular destination for village shopping and lunch. With an eclectic number of village-style shops you'll immerse yourself in the local mountains atmosphere. There are a number of cafe's offering a great range of quality gourmet foods. It can be popular here but well worth a visit as you can spend as much or as little time here as you like. We find Katoomba offers a greater range for lunch, and quick too, we will discuss on the day.

Blue Mountains

We spend most of our time within the Blue Mountains exploring lush rainforest areas and lookouts. Check out remote lookouts which are perfect for capture using your own equipment such as aerial drone photography & videography.

Echo Point Lookout

Photographing the Three Sisters must be considered as a highlight of the day and time it so the Three sisters are displayed at their best, in the afternoon light from the west. Although hard to avoid groups at this stop, we find the best time to visit is late-afternoon when the bulk of passengers have moved on. We save the best for last.

Katoomba

The mountains largest township and one of the earliest established tourist regions, you'll enjoy the diversity of this town. There are many options for a quick lunch, stop at a brewery, pub lunch at extra cost or simply stroll through the numerous eclectic shops at your own pace. We recommend this township for a stroll and lunch.

Take in the views of the sisters in the afternoon with wonderful golden light from the west.

Dave is an excellent driver very safe and very comfortable vehicle. He gives an interesting commentary and looks after all your needs as they arise. He works with your group to plan the day but has proactive suggestions and is flexible around your plans. We were two couples and would not hesitate to recommend him safe in the knowledge that he will deliver a first class service.

A PERFECT CUSTOMIZED DAY TRIP TO THE BLUE MOUNTAINS

My husband and I are active seniors who have had a tour of the Blue Mountains on our "bucket list" for several years. David worked with us to personalize our tour to our interests and abilities. He assured that we got the best of views of the mountains and waterfalls and vistas, even it we preferred to limit our hiking any great distance on unpaved paths. On our first stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park, he gave us a terrific overview and description of many of the animals, including the intriguing Pademelons. He also gave us time to explore on our own. He made sure I got the best-possible photos of birds and animals of interest. At Glenbrook, we got a terrific view of Wentworth Falls. We decided not to hike down to, and swim under, under the falls. He assured we still experienced impressiveness of the falls. All along the way, David went above and beyond to get us the best of views and experiences. We viewed the Three Sisters from two different viewpoints. I suggest taking the time for a pub lunch in Katoomba. It is a good opportunity to feel like a "local" and to relax mid-trip. We also enjoyed the stop in the mountain village of Leura where we could briefly browse in shops. Our tour with David could not have been more delightful, educational, and thrilling.
