Enjoy a private guided tour around one of Britain's most famous icons, Stonehenge. Fast-track pre-booked admission is included. This half-day tour gives you plenty of time to explore the ancient prehistoric monument and includes private transportation to and from Bath. You can choose either a morning or afternoon tour.

    Your guide from Bath Insider Tours will collect you from your preferred pick-up point in Bath and will drive you, by private vehicle, to Stonehenge approximately 1 hour away.

    At Stonehenge you will have a private tour of the famous stone circle where you will have lots of opportunities to take photos of one of Britain's most internationally recognised landmarks. Your guide will explain about its history, how archaeologists believe it was constructed and will tell you interesting stories behind the site as well as the latest discoveries. The exact purpose of Stonehenge remains a mystery so at the end of your visit you can form your own opinion! After visiting Stonehenge you will be driven back to your preferred drop-off location in Bath. You will have approximately 1.5 - 2 hours at Stonehenge.

An engaging knowledgable and entertaining guide

What an engaging, knowledgable and entertaining experience. Communication beforehand was superb, and there was significant flexibility in how many people were coming. Dan collected us from our accommodation and drove us to Stonehenge and back. His knowledge of the stones was superb, taking us on a tour through the visitor centre before visiting the stones. If we hadn’t got the knowledge beforehand we would have been oblivious about the setting and meaning of this place. Would highly recommend the trip.

Daniel was reliable ( he picked me up and dropped me off exactly as planned) and he is a good and careful driver. He offered welcome general history and site-specific insights, and he was a pleasure to walk around with. I really appreciated his good humor and professional demeanor.
