The tour includes priority and reserved access to the islands, a professional tour leader you through both islands (if option selected) and access to the Statue of Liberty Museum and the National Museum of Immigration on the island Ellis.
Our tour will start at our meeting point near One Battery Park Plaza opened in 1971, where we can have a panoramic view of our next destination, Liberty Island.

Please make sure to get to the meeting point on time. The tour starts at 9.30 and cannot be delayed. If you have chosen the Basic Option please note that you must enter the ferry close to "The View at Battery Park" Beer Garten
On days where the volume of visitors may be higher, such as: holidays, there may be long lines to enter the ferry, monument and museums.

Due to the security check to go on board the ferry every client has to wait a line. This line can take until 2 hours depending on the affluence. We recommend taking a hat and suncream on summer and you can also use this time to make turns and use the toilette
We offer the Premium Option, which includes an Interactive Audio Guide on your phone to supplement the explanations provided by the guide in places where he/she is not allowed to lead. We recommend choosing this option to enhance your experience

Our tour guide Sergio was amazing!
You get on the ferry to get to both attractions but before boarding you go through security that is very similar to TSA.
Once we arrived to the Statue of Liberty we stayed as a group and then got to explore a little on your own before getting on ferry to Ellis Island. (Note: if you want food get it at the Statue of Liberty stop)
Ellis Island was nice you get a headset for guided tour which we were not able to enjoy unfortunately. We had another attraction planned so we had to leave fairly early. My recommendation is do not plan another activity on the day you book this one. You will not have enough time to enjoy Ellis Island.
All in all great experience and happy we did it.
