Overview

Kathmandu, Nepal's capital, is set in a valley surrounded by the Himalayan mountains. At the heart of the old city’s mazelike alleys is Durbar Square, which becomes frenetic during Indra Jatra, a religious festival featuring masked dances. Many of the city's historic sites were damaged or destroyed by a 2015 earthquake. Durbar Square's palace, Hanuman Dhoka, and Kasthamandap, a wooden Hindu temple, are being rebuilt

Day Tour in Kathmandu - focused on history/religion

I had a great day in Kathmandu. Very professional tour that showed some great highlights to Kathmandu and gave me historical understanding of the country. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful full day tour of Kathmandu UNESCO sites. Greatly enjoyed all the history and background provided by my guide Raju. Private car made it much easier and hassle-free to get between sites.

Kathmandu tour

When we first arrived in Nepal, it was quite confusing to navigate traveling to nearby destinations. So we took the help of the exciting Nepal team to take us to nearby stops. We went to the Dubar Squares of Kathmandu and Swayambhu in one the days and Pashupatinath, Baudhanath, and Patan the other day. They made touring in a foreign town quite easy. Make sure you seek their help if you are nervous about touring Kathmandu solo!!

We did a day trip with exciting Nepal. Just called them and arranged a knowledgeable tour guide and a comfortable car for our day trip. Guide Raju was so knowledgeable and speak very good English. Thank you so much subash for arranging all this in a last minute quickly.

A burst of wonderful landscapes and people

Our main guide was Drubha and Subash. Both sorted any problem within minutes, except the infrastructure of main area in Kathmandu. :) Any queries and questions were answered, communication was excellent, and all needs met by these outgoing people. Highly recommended.
