    The tour ends at Somerset House, to see the site that was used as Pentonville Prison in the 2009 film. While the grand Neo-Classical façade of the building couldn’t be more different to the real-life prison, your guide will bring scenes from the film to life with tales of the baddie who was held there – Lord Blackwood. Excellent Sherlock Holmes walking tour

Did the tour on Saturday, November 30. Fiona was our tour guide and she was excellent. I thought this would be a good, different type of tour to do and it did not disappoint. Got a lot of fun information on the shooting of the Sherlock series and movies. I really appreciated how they had stills from the shows/movies we could compare to the locations we were standing in. The entire tour was interesting and informative. Looking forward to doing another tour on a different movie/series next time I visit.

Me and my mum went on the Sherlock Holmes tour, this was a gift for my mum who is a big fan of Sherlock Holmes. Our tour guide Fiona was absolutely wonderful! Very friendly, funny and told us so much we didn’t know about the older Sherlock homes films and the new bbc series. Highly recommend this tour for any Sherlock fans !
