Overview
On this exclusive walking tour, you will be taken along by a local historian and experienced guide, who was born and raised in Bruges and has lived here all his life.
In addition to a good introduction to Bruges, you will be guided along the highlights, with attention to facts, legends, and local customs. If possible, we enter a medieval house or focus on what goes on in the city through the eyes of a local.

We start the tour here with an introduction to the history of Bruges and the role the city played as a trading hub during the Middle Ages

Here the history of one of the most important families of the city during the Middle Ages is told. At this stop there is a break and you can go to the toilet.

We take you to the beautiful beguinage, where a community of ladies has lived together for more than 800 years.

VIGOR CLIUS is an excellent guide. His love of Bruges coupled with his wealth of knowledge made the tour. Walking the streets he brought the city to life in medieval times. He showed us details easily overlooked. I highly recommend this tour for a day in Bruges.

A good listener as well so as to make the tour customized to our interests. Saw the high spots over 2 exhilirating hours. Would highly recommend the tour and Raphael in particular.
