Arthur was an excellent guide. We learned a lot about Bruges and the stories were fun as well as informative. He communicated very well with all in the group as well as working in learning g our names! He answered our questions and gave wonderful tips for where to go for further exploration. Highly recommend this tour.
It was OK, but just OK and nothing special. The "workshop" was spooning out some warmer chocolate and putting stale biscuits etc on too- if you want to make truffles or anything nicer this is not the tour for you. The guide was a nice guy, which is why I gave it 3 stars and not less. There is a lot of walking- the kids were flagging a bit towards the end. If I could do it over, I would have gone for a better, just history, tour.
We don’t normally do the listening tours but really enjoyed learning about the origins of beer making and the various methods of brewing to give the variety of Belgium beers. Fully interactive, fun quizzes and a sensory experience ending in the bar for a tasting. Also a nice alternative story for the kids to follow.
This was so simple. A free shuttle took me from the ship to the terminal. Once stepping out of the terminal Cruise express was easily visible across the road. Bought tickets in the doorway using a credit card then walked round and got the bus, soon after I was in Brugge.
This tour gave interesting overview of Brussel’s history, both economically and culturally while delighting us with beer tasting, chocolate, waffles, and fantastic fries. Walid, our guide, was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. His tour also gave a great orientation to the major sites of the city for later follow-up.
5 out of 5. Can't thank Soren enough for a personalised tour. His knowledge was first rate, nothing was rushed or a worry, and he organised everything including a wreath to lay at the Menin Gate as well as booking a dinner reservation when we were running overtime. Thanks again Soren
