I wish to express my deepest gratitude to you, Muzaffar. Kolkata has always been a city close to my heart, but for my husband, visiting for the first time, it was an overwhelming experience. You, however, changed his perception entirely. With your eloquence and insight, you revealed to him the Kolkata I hold dear—a city of profound historical significance, where science and the arts exist in perfect harmony, fostering religious unity and philosophical depth.
You are a historian of rare excellence, an epic storyteller, a most delightful companion, and a soul of great kindness. In you, I see everything that Kolkata was and continues to be.
