    We will have Coffee & snacks at Kolkata's famous Indian Coffee House. Coffee House is a cafe. The history of the Coffee House at College Street can be traced to Albert Hall, which was founded in April 1876. Later, the Coffee Board decided to start a coffee joint from the Albert Hall in 1942. Notable citizens were frequent visitors to the place. The place became a renowned meeting place (Adda) for the intellectuals, students, poets, artistes, literati and people from the world of art and culture. It has played an important part in Calcutta's (Kolkata) cultural history and known as the hub of intellectual debates. Kolkata’s Indian Coffee House is quite a nostalgic hot-spot in the city.

Just awesome … what a brilliant day!

I was overwhelmed by the day I spent with Muzaffar … he is the best guide I have ever hired. What really “made my day” was not just seeing the sights but his extraordinary personal energy & love of the city he was brought up in. He is full of anecdotes & interesting facts about Kolkata & is also a lovely & funny person to spend a day with. If you are used to eating in India then ask him to take you to a “local”restaurant for Bengali fish … he chose a perfect spot for our lunch. Thanks Muzaffar .. I will be in touch when my friends get their act in gear & book their trip to Kolkata!

All the positive reviews are accurate! Muzaffar is an excellent guide and a generous host. The tour covers alot of ground but the pace feels relaxed and thoughtful. Muzaffar brings the city and its history to life, I highly recommend.
