Now it raised from the ashes after 70 years of sensitive reconstruction as a result of unbelievable effort and strong will of local people. Today you can admire its beauty. After approx. 2h of comfortable drive you reach Dresden in Germany and start exploring the historical centre of city raised from ashes after devastating air raids in World War II. The importance of Dresden grew with time. From a city known as town of “people from forests and swamps” it became a royal residence and major city of Saxony. You will enjoy the exteriors of restored historical centre (Old Town) of Dresden: - Brühl's Terrace - Church of our Lady - stony bell above the city - Procession of Princes (800 years of history) - Zwinger baroque complex - Royal Palace - Semper Opera etc.

Love the trip to Dresden. Absolutely great day trip. Michael is amazing, knowledgeable and caring tour guide. We had a memorable experience that will never be forgotten.
