Take a stroll with your personal guide through the former Jewish Ghetto. On this private tour you will learn more about 1000 years history of Prague Jewish Community. The tour covers all the sights of Jewish Museum as well as the fascinating Old New Temple, one of the oldest Jewish temples in Europe and you will visit the Old Jewish Cemetery, where Avigdor Kara, Mordechaj Meisel or Rabbi Low, legendary creator of Golem, are buried. Our professional guides have deep knowledge of Jewish history in the Czech lands. Entrance fee to the Jewish Town in Prague is included in the price of the tour.

A must for learning CZech history.

Outstanding Guide; Insightful Experience

Our English-speaking guide, Thomas —a Prague native— was exemplary. His deep knowledge of Jewish history and culture was peppered with insightful references to Czech history and contemporary life as well. Coupled with his curious, friendly, and considerate personality, Thomas was both companion and teacher in our trek through many centuries of Jewish life. We felt enriched and grateful for the experience. We highly recommend Lucy Tours and Thomas as guide-in-chief.

Although none of the 5 of us are Jewish, we each found this tour to be personally meaningful. The synagogues and cemetery are so historical yet still part of current communities and worship. Our guide Amalka was deeply knowledgeable and very personable. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Prague.

A Memorable Tour and Experience

We were guided by Amalka and this was a delightful tour. The Synagogues visited were all distinctive, the old Cemetery was memorable and being in the Jewish Quarter was very significant with its history and vibe. Amalka was very knowledgeable, kind and fun. We later came back to the Spanish Synagogue for the Sunday night concert, which was an amazing experience, highly recommended.
