Overview

Pilate’s House, located at the Square with the same name, invites us to visit one of the least known monuments in the city and one of the most mistreated during the wars that Seville has experienced. However, Disney already said it in «Mulan»: «The flower that blooms in adversity is the rarest and most beautiful of all.» And Pilate’s House is precisely that flower, which has endured so much adversity and offers us a decadent romantic beauty with a history full of symbology, mythology and legends. The ideal visit to understand a little more about our culture, our architecture and the hidden magic of some corners of Seville.

Beautiful site & great Tour Guide

Isabele was my Tour Guide and she was amazing. She gave an interesting background. Isabele is fluent in English and really nice. She gave me lots of sightseeing tips. She even gave me a lovely gift of a local sweet pastry.

What a wonderful afternoon I spent with Isabel during my private tour of Pilates’ house&garden!!! Isabel was so emphatic and charming, like I met a relative from another country! I really appreciate her knowledge and dedication and I learned so many new things about Andalusian style, the explanation of the name Pilates, or Catalina de Rivera….I feel like I have to come back!
