Overview

Our tour of Petropolis Bohemia is for those who enjoy a good beer. After visiting the main sights of the city of Petrópolis, we will go to the circuit of the Bohemia brewery that counts on the tasting of the 3 main beers of the brand. The city of Petropolis, also known as the "Imperial City" for having been the refuge of the imperial family during the summer, houses a beautiful architectural complex with buildings such as Petrópolis Cathedral, one of the only neo-Gothic churches in Brazil. Imperial Museum, where it was the residence of the imperial family and that counts on a great collection of pieces of the time and the Palace Quitandinha, that was the biggest hotel casino of Latin America, in the decade of 40. Who enters the Bohemia Brewery, immediately falls in love with the beer universe. The visit offers the most complete brewing experience in Latin America.

     Dedicated to the patron saint of Brazil, Petrópolis Cathedral is one of the most important neo-Gothic buildings in the country. Designed at the end of the 19th century, this church stands out for the beauty of its façade and its innumerable super-worked stained-glass windows.

    Also known as Imperial Palace is a Historical - Themed Museum located in the historical center of the city of Petropolis. Its collection is divided into the following spaces: dining room, music room, state hall, Dom Pedro II's Office, princess's room and Empress's living room.

  • Museu Casa de Santos Dumont

    Also called "The Enchanted One", the summer house of the father of the aviation has some peculiarities, like one of its last inventions that is the shower with hot water and also the external staircase where one can only begin to rise with the right leg. Optional input.

    Inaugurated in 1884, the Crystal Palace was a gift from Count d'Eu to Princess Isabel in order to be used as a greenhouse so that she could cultivate her greenery. Nowadays, the Palace houses several regional fairs and, around it, is where the famous Bauernfest is located, which happens in the last weekends of June.

A great tour, quite unexpected. Lasts 1 hour 4 x small glasses of beer as you go around and glass at the dnd of it. Not expensive.

Very good tour to Petropolis. The tour bus was on time to pick me up at the meeting point, the tour guide Carlos was very professional in explaining the trips and when visiting each places. Great day trip to cover Petropolis.

The lovely scenery and the brewery were highlights of the tour. Our guide Gabriel was very helpful especially with his English explanations. My only concern was that our trip was confirmed to start at 8:10 per an email about 2 weeks before the date. The day before I decided to reconfirm and was told to be ready at 7:10. If I hadn't reconfirmed, we would have missed the trip. I expected better communication.

Very good trip with the guide Roma and his driver Edmilson. We saw the Cathedral, Royal Palace Museum and the Crown Jewel. The buffet was very good. Too much food.

Great tour with multiple stops. Really enjoyed the museum. The brewery was self guided with three different tastings. Guide was very informative.
