Overview

Immerse yourself in a shared pasta-making class. Learn the secrets of the region's most famous pasta dishes and taste the fruit of your labour over lunch or dinner accompanied by local wine. During the lesson, the host will reveal the tricks of the trade of 3 authentic regional pasta recipes. Have fun putting your cooking skills to the test. Participants will have a workstation equipped with utensils and all the ingredients to make the dishes. Then, taste everything you have prepared over a meal accompanied by a selection of red and white local wines. Behind every Pasta shape there is an ancient tradition and a personal story. Your host will welcome you like part of the family as they teach you their family cooking secrets for an authentic culinary experience. Feel the love for genuine produce from Assisi and enjoy great conversation with a welcoming new friend. Learn how to prepare fresh pasta by hand and how to prepare 3 simple different shapes from scratch under the guidance of an expert home cook. Tortellini with bambino

The cooking class started with a surprise wine tasting across the street, which was lovely. Then we switched to tagliatelle, ravioli, and tortellini with Cesarine. She was a wonderful teacher and host. We learned useful techniques from her for our future homemade pasta meals. Our two year old son became instantly friends with her.

Was a great experience and Eleanora was great! Highly recommend the pasta making class. The lunch was delicious and even more special knowing we made it. The wine tasting and cheese pairing was also delicious.

Eleonora was absolutely amazing! First she sent us across the street for an amazing cheese and wine tasting with the store owner. And as we were making the pasta she was an excellent teacher and made sure that we felt confident throughout the whole process!

This activity was a highlight of our trip to Italy. We enjoyed every minute with Eleanora. She was patient and encouraging throughout our class. Eleanora was very experienced and passionate about cooking, making pasta, and all aspects organic local Umbria products. We had a wonderful time and will be using our newly acquired pasta making skills when we get home. The owner of the wine store across the street, Stelvietti, also made the experience unforgettable. He brought us wonderful glasses of wine and local taste of cheese, olive oil, truffles …while we enjoyed the cooking experience.
