The tour guide, Juliet, was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and responsive. She clarified what we were interested in hearing about at the start of the tour. She answered all of our questions (we had loads) and covered a wide range of topics not advertised in the tour (general history, economics and vampires) and there was a much appreciated pit stop at a local bar. I’d recommend this interesting tour.

We really enjoyed this experience and would recommend this tour. Juliet was extremely knowledgeable and tailored her talk after asking what we were interested in hearing about. We asked her loads of questions (not just about ghosts and witches) and she answered them fully and thoughtfully. We learned so much. There was a much needed pit stop in a nice bar.

Juliet was an awesome tour guide! She answered all of our questions and broke down the history in a fun and interesting way. The stories and tales were very good. And the meet and end point at the hex doing the intentional work was a fun and energizing experience. The only thing that was a little misleading is if you are on the night tour (7pm) the only place you go in is HEX everything else is outside

Juliet provided the perfect amount of New Orleans history, while explaining the role of witches and voodoo practitioners in protecting the area. She framed this history with an acknowledgement of how these people had to practice in the shadows to avoid persecution from traditional religious zealots. Juliet also discussed hauntings related to the terrible war battles in the area, and in some cases, specifically tied to legitimately evil people. If you do this tour, it’s ok to be skeptical. No one is trying to convert tourists! But there is a lot of creepy and dark history in this area that is worth appreciating.
