An indulgent evening visiting three diverse and unique Melbourne venues with exclusive savoury food and wine tastings from their menus, all whilst taking in Melbourne’s architecture as you meander between venues. In this city, the design and presentation of the venues are as much part of the overall experience as the food and wine. In addition to enjoying a delicious food and wine experience, you will also learn about Melbourne’s storied past and eccentric culture of today.

    Melbourne’s love of food and wine has given rise to expert wine-makers and celebrity chefs who have made the city the culinary capital of Australia. While you’re there, don’t miss this chance to experience the Melbourne food scene at its finest. Meet the sommelier, who will present you with three flights (samples) of his or her favorite wines from the wine list and talk you through the tasting. Small plates will be prepared by the chef to complement the wines. Each restaurant is within an approximate 15-minute walk from the other and are special for the food and aesthetic – they are truly fantastic places to spend an evening in Melbourne!

    Our guide will meet you outside Time Out Cafe, and the tour will start from this spot. The food and wine experiences do vary, so the venues change from time to time.

Absolute 5 star experience with Fiona our tour guide - I've lived in Melbourne my entire life and yet I learnt so much, about so many of the little details and the history about our beautiful city that Fiona pointed out as we walked from place to place. The restaurants we visited were welcoming, and delicious! So much food! Can 100% recommend this for anyone wanting to learn more about Melbourne, visit some of the best restaurants, whether you're a local or a visitor!

If I could give this tour 10 Stars, I would! My friends and I scheduled this evening walking tour as a way to help us acclimate to Melbourne time after arriving from the USA early that morning. It was absolutely the perfect way to spend our first evening in Melbourne! Fiona Sweetman from Hidden Secrets Tours planned a wonderful evening at three restaurants with really excellent food and outstanding wine pairings. Ignore that old comment about not enough food, there was plenty. Fiona clearly has a solid rapport with the restauranteurs, as they were very happy to see us, and we had excellent service. The unexpected and delightful surprise was Fiona’s knowledge of Australian and Melbourne history. The entire evening was a really lovely introduction to Melbourne! Book this tour, you will not be disappointed.

An absolutely fantastic experience! The food was so delicious and varied! We started with an Asian fusion restaurant, then moved onto an Italian bistro and finished at an Argentinian steak house. The wines were paired perfectly with the dishes and the staff at each restaurant provided explanations of their restaurant, the menu and the dishes. Our guide, Catherine, was wonderful to talk to and full of information about the city and the food/wine scene in Melbourne. Bring your appetite - this is a must do if in Melbourne!
