Itinerary

Meet at Balgownie Estate or arrange a pickup from the CBD as a part of your package. Depart from Balgownie Estate via the Global Ballooning bus to one of the many launch sites - wind dependent. Assist in the setup of the balloon. Up in the sky for approx. 1hr - you will fly over Yarra Valley and surrounds, however it is fully dependent on the wind direction. Every flight is unique! Land and assist with pack down. You'll be driven to Balgownie Estate where breakfast is held (if included in your package)

Wonderful balloon ride! So pretty and the service was simply fantastic. They are very professional and well organized. Unfortunately, I broke my foot after the balloon ride while jumping off the truck on our way to breakfast but one of the company’s leaders kindly drove us to the hospital. He truly went above and beyond. Despite my challenges, it was still a very pleasant experience and highly recommend it!

Best experience ever!

Our family joined the Yarra Valley package with breakfast on January 1, 2025, and it was an amazing experience as the first rays of light shone upon the horizon on a brand new year. The staff were incredibly kind, and a special shoutout goes to our guide, Raine, from Taiwan, who also speaks Mandarin. Our pilot, Steve Buckley, is a funny guy whose jokes kept the whole atmosphere lively. I want to mention that some people have commented about the packing of the balloon after the flight and the size of the basket relative to the number of passengers. The packing is purely voluntary, but it is a nice experience to participate in, and it is not arduous work at all. Even my 8-year-old daughter lent a hand. As for the basket, our tour had over 20 people; it was a bit tight, but certainly not to the point where you would feel uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet at Balgownie Estate was excellent and on par with a 5-star hotel. This company also has a dedicated app for information, contact, and downloading flight photos and videos, which is a nice touch.

Amazing team and great experience! Raine and Nick were amazing and the breakfast at the vineyard was top notch... the views were spectacular and it is exactly what one would want out of this type of experience.
