Overview

One day in Phnom Penh? Must Do Option. Visit all the city highlights by A/C Van in the morning and Genocide sites in the afternoon. The morning includes Wat Phnom, Royal Palace; an example of classic traditional Cambodian architecture, KH-VN monument, Statue of the king, Independence Monument from the French, constitutional monument. Explanations are given at every stop, and questions are most welcome. At S21 Prison and Killing Fields, you can visit at your own pace using an audio guide to explain the barbaric history of the genocide. See Central Market to browse and buy local products. Lunch break is optional. Being a local tour guide, I can guarantee with my knowledge and experience that you will not only learn a lot of history but have an enjoyable day and make take home memories.

Jum Reap, was an amazing guide. He speaks slowly, making it easy to understand everything and also acomodate all the new information in your head. He would always look for shadows for us to be during the explanation, help with the street crossing, answer the infinite questions regarding the history, arquitecture, culture, etc. The van is very clean and new and it was amazing to have fresh water with such a heat. Totally recomendable!

If you want a tour which hits all the major spots in Phnom Penh, look no further. Having spent the morning in a wonderfully air-conditioned van looking at some of the attractions of the city, we were taken to the obviously sombering killings fields and S-21 prison. What sets this tour apart is the amazing guide, Sina, who answered every question we had and shared the experiences of his family. We'll be forever grateful for his openness which aided our understanding, and it was clear to see his passion in sharing the story of Cambodia. You won't regret booking this tour.

Sina was an amazing guide, he spoke perfect English and provided cold drinks throughout the tour. He took great care of us the entire day and was so patient. It was a very sobering experience learning about Cambodia’s history. We would highly recommend sina’s service for a private tour if you are short of time or want to see the main sights in a day. The day was well planned out and we did not feel rushed at all: thank you sina for a wonderful experience!
