Visit the elegant hamlet of Sirmione, a beautiful peninsula in the middle of the lake, famous for its thermal baths and amazing villas. Then, relax enjoying a private boat tour and admire the beauty of this stunning place. Right after the boat tour you will discover the old town with your guide and enjoy some free time for a fresh gelato or for shopping. Leave Sirmione to reach one of the most beautiful villages of the area and have lunch with delicious local dishes and fine wine. Next stop? Verona, the romantic Roman city, famous for the amazing Arena amphitheatre and Romeo and Juliet. Meet with our local guide and discover the history, traditions and legends of the city. If you wish, you will have some free time at the end of the tour, before going back to Venice.

The guide will be in front of the restaurant "Al Vinatier" holding a yellow sign with "TOUR" written. To arrive to the meeting point please follow the directions to "Piazzale Roma". The restaurant is in a corner of the main square.

Riviera Tours Lake Garda, Venice and Verona tour

We flew from our local East Midlands Airport to Venice Treviso Airport, to begin our Riviera coach tour of Lake Garda, Venice and Verona. Super hot and sunny weather greeted us as we landed and swiftly made our way through, to be greeted seamlessly by Kate, our guide for the duration. A five minute walk across a car park led us to our coach for the onward journey to our chosen hotel….the Savoy Palace at Riva del Garda. There are a variety of hotels to choose from and we were very happy with ours. Lovely food, friendly and entertaining staff and very clean. The hotel is set back a 10 minute walk from the lake shore and a casual, scenic, 30 minute walk to the lovely old town. Over the the following days our knowledgable and personable guide Kate, ably supported by our driver Stefano, took us on memorable tours around the lake top spots, the Dolomites, with beautiful scenery and stunning Alpine villages and towns, a bucket-lister Venice tour, taking the optional and wonderful Gondola ride at a steal of a price. With rest days in between, Verona was a fitting and beautiful city to finish with. As with Venice, a 45 minute guided tour to the hotspots left plenty of time for exploring, refreshments (Aperol/Spritz is a must ) and getting to know your fellow travellers. All in all, a wonderful tour with great hosts and likeminded explorers. Recommended.

Fun Family Vacation

The lake Garda and Sirmione town were phenomenal and should not be missed on this experience. Our guide and driver, Francesca, was fun and very conversational and knowledgeable about the region. Lunch in the countryside was fantastic and the tortellini best we have ever tasted. Verona, despite the rain, was charming and our guide was personable and enthusiastic about showing us her city! Highly recommend this experience.

Totally wonderful day!! Francesca is a knowledgeable, informative, very pleasant excellent driver and host!! The boat ride on Lake Garda is fun and scenic. Lunch was delicious at La Botega di Borghto!! Benedicta led the tour of Verona - she is a top 5 tour guide anywhere. Her love and knowledge of Verona shine through! This is a totally enjoyable full day tour!!

We really enjoyed this tour. We were staying in Venice and this was a great way to see the surrounding area. Francesca was a great guide and answered all of my kids questions. The tortellini for lunch was the best I've ever had. and Francesca introduced us to some great Italian wine! After lunch, we really enjoyed discovering Verona with Isabella.
