I booked a half day tour with Sam in Phnom Penh. Sam offered to pick me up in a car or, as I was alone, on a motorcycle. I chose a motorcycle. This was fun.
Considering the subject matter, I was initially hesitant to book this tour. However, in the end, I was happy I took the tour, and even more so that I had Sam as my guide.
As Sam accompanied me to each site, I listened intently to her deeply moving narration. She knew when to present facts and when to allow me time to silently contemplate.
After the museum we visited the Russian market and shared some snacks.
I enjoyed my day with Sam She is knowledgeable, funny, heartfelt, and made this a memorable experience. She also offered msny recommendations for my time in Cambodia I highly recommend Sam.
