Overview

Johnny's Prague Photography Tour is an award-winning walking photo tour with more than 10-year old tradition. It will fully immerse you with cityscape photography for 3 hours. You will be guided by a local professional photographer named Jan Miracky to his favorite photography locations in Prague - both iconic as well as off-the-beaten-path. Jan will also advise you on how to improve your composition skills and teach you how to set up your camera to capture the best images possible. We will take advantage of the best light and shoot in soft late afternoon light through sunset to the ​blue hour that is the best time for capturing night photos. This tour is for photography enthusiasts of all levels. If you enjoy cityscape/landscape photography and want to get a local touch for your pictures while learning new tricks, then this tour is for you!

Wonderful photography experience with Jan

My photography afternoon spent with Jan was fabulous and just what I needed after a sudden death in the family. Jan was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and flexible on timing. I booked, cancelled and then rebooked with no problem as plans changed rapidly. Jan brought a tripod which really helped. His knowledge of the city and great places to shoot was terrific. Although I am a pretty experienced photographer, he still taught me many things about my camera that i did not know. His tips on composition were appreciated too. When I go back to Prague, Jan will be one of the first people I contact. Thank you, Jan, for a wonderful photography experience.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our walking photo tour of Prague with Jan Miřacký. I'm no expert but my husband is quite skilled, and Jan helped both of us learn new techniques. We visited some gorgeous viewpoints and received pointers on how to get the best shots. Jan even rented me a tripod.

Your Photo Guide in Prague

I did a very early morning session in Prague with Johnny few days ago. Despite the freezing cold weather we managed to pull of some great frames of Prague landmarks. Johnny is very experienced photographer who knows the city indie out, you cannot go wrong with him. I would strongly recommend him anyone looking for a photo guide for this very picturesque city.

Best phototour I've done

From the first email contact until weeks after the tour Jan has been a very kind, helping and understanding photographer. Not only does he know his home town well of which he makes very nice pictures! What triggered me to book his tour is that I like his style of photography as he shows on his website ivery much and is close to how I like to photograph myself. On the phototour he actively helped me to replicate the photos he made. That my camera is of a different make than his own makes no difference to him. As the saying goes: it's not the camera that makes the picture but the man (or woman, of course). I was lucky enough to do the tour with Jan only hours after arriving in Prague so the following days I could put his lessons into practice on the many other sites he pointed out. It was my second time in Prague but I didn't succed in aing nice photos the first time. So and I'm very happy with the hours with him. It's easy to onderstand the awards he has won including for the quality of his tours. Jan also does longer photo trips and I'm looking forward to book one of those.
