    Begin your tour at the Sainte-Catherine Church, a unique structure built by shipbuilders entirely out of wood. Admire its impressive nave and twin bell towers.

    Stroll along the Vieux Bassin, the picturesque old harbor lined with colorful 16th to 18th-century townhouses. This is the heart of Honfleur and offers beautiful views of the boats and waterfront cafes.

    Walk along Quai Sainte-Catherine, a quayside promenade offering more views of the harbor and lined with shops, art galleries, and seafood restaurants.

    Start at the famous Promenade des Planches, a boardwalk along the beach lined with beach cabins named after famous actors and directors who have attended the annual Deauville American Film Festival. Lastly, you can visit Les Halles de Deauville, a lively indoor market where you can explore stalls selling fresh produce, seafood, and local delicacies.

Excellent tour guide. He was an excellent driver and he had to be, given the tiny roads in Honfleur. Our guided went above and beyond. He took us to various spots and waited for us while we "explored", and then he took us on to the next spot. After that, he dropped us off in town so we could walk about on our own; and he was at the spot where we agree to meet to return to the ship a few minutes before the appointed hour. All around, a first quality experience.
