    Private Property Donated to the Public by Abudulahi, (Jeevanjee Gardens), was founded by A.M. Jeevanjee, an Asian-born entrepreneur in Kenya, It is the only park in the city that is directly owned by the people, having been donated to the magnificent people of Nairobi as a resting area. (The park was private property and it is held in trust for the people of Nairobi).

    A monumental Building Built in 1930 close to the railway line, which ran along what is now Loita Street, the Nairobi City Market served as the main retail outlet for cultural souvenirs, fruits and vegetables in Nairobi, before the railway line was relocated in the 1940s

    Jamia Mosque Founded by Syed Maulana Abdullah Shah in the year 1902 Nairobi, Kenya in the Central Business District. Jamia Mosque is an important centre of Islamic practice in the East and Central African region. and constructed between 1925 and 1933, Jamia Mosque became the centre of Muslim religious organization throughout the pre-independent and independent years.

A must for first time visitors!!

Nairobi & Kenya Crash Course.

Michael was a superb guide for our 2 hour city tour. His knowledge of the city and Kenyan history is outstanding and we learned so much in such a short period of time. Doing the tour on Sunday was also a great decision because the auto and pedestrian traffic was minimal and provided for a relaxing experience as well. Highly recommend Michael as your tour guide for his knowledge and very accommodating demeanor.

Friendly and Flexible Guided Tour - 10/10!!

We had Alex take us on the tour and we loved talking with him and having him show us around Nairobi. He was super friendly and flexible, shared lots of stories and interesting facts about Nairobi as we walked and is overall an excellent communicator. He tailored the tour to our interests and even walked us to our next destination. Everywhere we went, someone seemed to know Alex which is a testament to how well he knows this city and its people. We got to see some places and things that we otherwise probably would not have had we tried it alone. Highly recommend for single, couples or small groups alike!

I had a great time with Michael, who was very engaged in telling me all about the history of Nairobi and the country. I also enjoyed his flexibility towards the route and tour as I felt that he told me and showed me things that were interesting for me and didn’t seem to follow a script. All in all a very nice experience. thank you so much
