From start to finish, our journey through Amboseli, Nakuru, Naivasha and Masai Mara was nothing short of spectacular. Every moment was filled with breathtaking landscapes, thrilling wildlife encounters, and top-tier service that exceeded all our expectations. Every stop felt like stepping into a new world. Masai Mara was the true highlight of our safari. Reny Safaris made sure early morning and sunset game drives, which are the best times for animal activity. We saw a pride of lions feasting on a fresh kill, a leopard dragging its prey up a tree, and even a massive herd of wildebeest thundering across the plains. The amount of wildlife here is unreal. In Amboseli, we saw massive herds of elephants walking across golden plains, with the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro towering in the background. Nakuru and Naivasha were refreshing with boat rides and thousands of flamingos. The accommodations arranged by Japheth were exceptional, from elegant lodges with spectacular views to beachside resorts that felt like paradise. The staff at every hotel went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. A special mention to our tour guide Elisha, who truly made this trip fun and exciting. This was, without a doubt, the trip of a lifetime! 11/10.
Excellent safari with this Tour Operator. I took 4 days - 3 nights in Masai Mara National Reserve. Everything went on smoothly. We could do what we expected. Except for rhinos, we could see all the other big animals. Don't forget that you are there for them... They are not there for You. In 2-3 days, you will probably be happy with the observation of the wildlife. We were upgraded in terms of accommodation. Alama Camp Mara was just amazing. Ben is a calm and excellent driver. Very knowledgeable too.
What can I say? Incredible experience. From the start it was outstanding and easy, communication and quick response time to all information provided and all questions answered by Shadrack. I did a lot of research on companies prior and the price matched with the reputation attracted me and I didn’t regret any of it. Our driver and guide was Shaban and he was exceptional. He’s been leading Safaris for 15 years and is extremely knowledgeable and was a pleasure to be with. Our group had 8 people and all of us were blown away by the experience. Asante Sana!
I had a great day, was the perfect length, enough time to see everything. My guide, Kelvin was an absolute dream. Travelling on your own makes the guide even more important and we laughed all day! He really made the trip special for me! Would highlight recommended!
I was a bit anxious to book a safari tour via email, especially with a down payment, but the great reviews convinced me. Jocky Tours was fast to reply and answered all my questions. On the day of the tour I was greeted (punctually) by a friendly driver who brought me to their office for payment after which we proceeded to the safari vehicle. Our guide was Kikitu and we set off in group to Masaai Mara. I had booked the 5 day budget safari and it far exceeded my expectations. This was mostly due to our excellent guide Kikitu who made sure we were entertained and had an amazing trip! When our first day did not go fully as planned due to unforeseen circumstances (road blocked) he made sure we were fed (as we were not able to reach our lunch spot) and when we did reach our destination he made sure we still had a wonderful evening. The rest of the week he gave us a premium experience with humor, interesting knowledge, making sure we saw the Big Five and a big smile. Personally I did have high expectations for the accommodations as this was a budget tour but we had three meals a day, very decent accommodations and we definitely got value for our money. The meals were buffet with similar options yet enough variation to keep you satisfied. The car was cleaned daily with a box stocked with water. I always felt safe during our drives even though the roads were bumpy (especially towards Masaai Mara), our guide was definitely an experienced driver. The only “negative” I have to note is that we had one day solely dedicated to a long drive, but then again it was also a welcome rest as we woke up early most days and we had a very active and long day the day before.
We booked a private safari with Marurumi Safaris. Everything went smoothly, they were able to accommodate all of our request in putting together the perfect trip. Quick communication which made organising the trip much easier than we had anticipated. We were able to see three very different parks in the span of our trip which was amazing. The accommodations they chose were all lovely and the activities ran smoothly, we loved how much time we spent on far drives. Our guide and driver, Robin, was really great too. He’s an excellent driver and a great guide who made sure to find whatever we wanted to see - we were able to spot so many animals and see a few up close which was very special. He never made us feel rushed and always ensured we were getting the most of the experience. He is a friendly and good natured person, and we spent a great week together. We couldn’t have been happier and recommend Marurumi to everyone.
The tour was perfectly arranged and the driver picked me from my Airbnb on time. It was my last day in Kenya and wished I knew this company earlier. They are excellent, from start to end I enjoyed every bit of it. The farm is well kept with a welcoming garden. This tour is educational to coffee lovers like me who have never known the processes to cup. A must do.
Whole experience was just amazing. We have seen stunning views, beautiful nature and incredible animals in their natural environment. It wouldn’t be possible without Sami, our guide, who was extremely patient, caring and ready to answer any, even dumpiest questions. Recommended for all who are ready for short but intensive African adventure!
Our safari in Masai Mara was nothing short of spectacular! We were fortunate to have Guide Moses, who was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and had a great eye for spotting wildlife. Thanks to him, we saw big cats—lions, leopards and cheetahs! His passion for the wild made the experience even more special. Overall Marvels of Africa tour did a fantastic job
This was an incredible laid back yet exciting experience. David and Edwin are bosses in their own right and provided excellent commentary and that Kenyan driving style. Yet we felt safe all the way. What I loved most was the patience. We waited at least 20 minutes to see an elephant herd pass before us. That was freaking awesome. Also the where is Waldo excitement while looking for lions was awesome. (We found them). If you can do yourself a favor and book them private tour. And ask for David and Edwin.
Wonderful experience in Maasai Mara. Thanks to our guide Dickson we saw a lot of lions, éléphants girafes etc We were so lucky to see a cheetah hunting !! Dickson was patient enough to stay about 40 minutes because he new we will had the chance to see him hunting and that was a blast !! We also spot a leopard, we did appreciate the experienced because of others drivers from other companies that did not respect the animal and came so close to him, even blocking him at some moments. We appreciated Dickson, cause he was happy for us to be able to spot this animal but was really respectful with him ! He has a full knowledge of the wildlife, we learnt a lot thanks to him. Also, really trustworthy company. We pay a small amount in advance and the rest on the day of departure, they pick up us and drop off at our hotel. This all included package is really convenient and we highly recommend it !!
