Our meeting place will be the first exit from Katakolon Port. Upon your arrival at the port, I will be there to pick you up with our vehicle and provide you with a tour which will last 4-5 hours max.   • Archaeological Site of Olympia

    Market of Ancient Olympia, Olympia, Greece Discover the birthplace of the Olympic Games by first visiting the archeological site. You will admire the stunning view of the most famous monuments such as the ancient stadium, that hosted 40.000 spectators sited,the temple of Zeus and Hera’s and many more.

  • Archaeological Museum of Olympia

    where you will see the metopes from the temple of Zeus, the magnificent statue of Hermes of Praxiteles, the statue of Nike of Paionios and the helmet of Miltiades, a famous general from the Persian wars. You can also visit the Museum of the History of the games where you can learn more about how the Olympic games begun and the sports they were included.

  • Klio's Honey Farm

    You will learn a lot about the production of honey and have the chance to try it as well.

    We visit the monastery if you want to follow the tour schedule if not we can visit another place of your choice at the same distance. The monastery is located, between the villages Lanthi and Labeti on steep rock with an amazing view of the mountain Erymanthos and the forest of Foloi.

Great tour, even better host

Andreas was not available on the day of our cruise stop, but set up up with a tour with Nancy. Nancy was an amazing tour guide. She welcomed us as the cruise port with our name. She let us know that our day was completely customizable and we could do as much or as little as we wanted. She took us straight to the archeological site where we were able to stay ahead of the cruise tour crowds. Although she was unable to join us through the gate, she gave us a book that clearly explained what we were looking at and what the ruins would have originally looked like. She waited just outstanding de the gate for us and met us exactly where she said she’d be waiting. She then took us to the Klio honey farm which was one of our favorite tours of our whole cruise. We also went to an olive oil plant and to a hotel with beach access where we enjoyed a beverage with the most spectacular view. Another highlight was that Nancy took us to the an amazing local restaurant (not a tourist restaurant but one that the locals go to). The food was delicious and the owners were such beautiful people who treated us like we were long lost family. Our day with Nancy was our absolute favorite day. She was such an exceptional host and tour guide. If I ever find myself in Katakolon, I will be booking with her again.

Wonderful day exploring all Katakolo/Olympia. Our guide/driver Marilena was excellent and so very kind. She was Knowledgeable and knew just where to take us to beat the crowds. Would highly recommend- you won’t be disappointed!!

Andreas is a multi generation local who knows and loves his region. He took us to several hidden gems as well as a marvelous olive oil processing facility that was excellent. As a very experienced world traveler I can assure you will be well cared for.
