We met Mohammed at the meeting place and right away we could tell he was very knowledgeable. He asked us what we wanted to see so he could tailor the tour. He spoke very good English and knew many English turns of phrase and colloquialisms to help us understand things.
Considering that we booked the tour at ~23:00 the night before and we took the tour at 10:00 the next day, we were very impressed.
He took us very deep into the Medina and to many places that we would have never found on a self guided tour even accompanied by Google Maps!
We would recommend doing a tour like this at the start of your trip to get your bearings and also understanding the background to the city.
Mohammed also took us into an amazing Riad with hand crafted plaster. We also went to the House of slippers and bought some lovely shoes. We also stopped in a apothecary and had an introduction to the different products. We bought some Ra's El Hanoot and other spices/teas.
In summary, Mohammed is an excellent tour guide and should have way more than 21 reviews on TripAdvisor. I sincerely hope people aren't put off by this and are able to enjoy his tours in future.
