Tour itinerary: It takes a hour drive from Hoi An or Da Nang to My Son Sanctuary and you can choose your suitable time to start the tour. Our local guide is very knowledgeable & professional to make you a memorable & a wonderful tour. It is a Worth Visiting place. The My Son Sanctuary is about 50 kilometres inland from Hoi An One of the best places in Vietnam, My Son Sanctuary is an ancient site of art and architecture that carries immense historical significance. Located on the coast of present-day central Vietnam, this World Heritage Site was the erstwhile capital of the Champa Kingdom. Several partially demolished tower temples dedicated to Lord Shiva make this site one of the most interesting places to see in Vietnam. These spectacular architectural edifices have been raised over a period of 10 centuries (4th to 14th Century AD) and the carvings truly reflect the culture, ethos, history, and heritage of south-east Asia.

  • My Son Sanctuary

    - Visit UNESCO World Heritage site, learning about the history of the site with your knowledgeable tour guides - Explore all temples built and rebuilt from 4th century to 13rd century - Marvel at the Hindu remains of tower-temples decorated in bas-relief. - Find out how the Cham people built the temples without using mortar - Learn about the Champa Kingdom and their relationship to the temples at My Son. - Enjoy the beautiful views of valley surrounding by jungles - Enjoy the wonderful performance such as Apsara Dance . Tour itinerary: - About 7am or 1:30pm, our guide and driver pick you up at hotels - Take about one hour drive to My Son Holyland. - About 2 hours, our guide will walk with you and explain all history of ruins & temples. - About 11:30 or 6pm. You will return to your hotel.

Great tours

We were recommended to use Tommy Dao Tours and we were not disappointed. We used them for transfers and tours. Although the weather was a bit wet it did not stop us having an amazing trip up Marble Mountain & to Hue. The guides knowledge of the history was very informative and enjoyed the local lunch in Hue. Our tour to My Son Sanctuary & Hoi An was another great day of learning about the local history. Hoi An is a beautiful place. We did a visit to Da Nang with a great lunch. The guides and drivers were wonderful and very informative. Vietnam is an amazing place and we will be back and will use Tommy again.

I contacted Tommy at a very short notice and I wanted a personalised tour for my family. Tommy was very accommodating and catered for our needs. We had a private vehicle just for our family and we covered My son sanctuary, pottery making , lantern making , rice paper making , coconuts boat rice. Lunch and bottled water was included. Our tour guide was Mr Ken he was such a genuine person with tons of knowledge and experience. We loved listening to his war stories and he gave us such a good in-site about our tour and Vietnam in general. We did not have a single dull moment. He is an amazing tour guide so if your looking for someone with good knowledge and also love listening to real stories pls do ask for him as your guide. His personal life story was such heart touching and full of courage. I genuinely felt very close to Vietnam after listening to him. Thank you so much Mr Ken for sharing a little piece of your life with us. We will remember it forever. Until we meet again.

An excellent tour - My Son Sanctuary was really interesting and a perfect half day activity with the teens. Our tour guide - Mr Ken - was exceptional. 78 years old, full of great information and knew how to steer us through and avoid the busy tour groups. Mr Ken’s own personal story was worth as much as the tour also - having lived through the war.
