Despite doing most of...

Despite doing most of this tour in a downpour, we thoroughly enjoyed the day. Richard was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Canal and the history of Panama as well. We enjoyed the boat ride, stopping at the island for the monkeys to feed from our hands. He took us to a resort afterwards to get a coffee and a respite from the rain. The resort was a beautiful place to stop. Our walk in the rainforest was instead a short ride, but we didn't mind as we were wet enough, and we still got to see a sloth resting in a tree. We would highly recommend this tour, and Richard as a tour guide.

A very good introduction to wildlife along the Panama Canal banks and Lake Gatun.

The tour went exactly as described and was well worth the cost. Richard our guide explained everything to us at just the right pace and quantity of information. Of course with wildlife you can never guarantee seeing all that is hoped for. On this occasion we were very lucky in that all we wanted to see put in an appearance. A good balance between the water and land tours.

Amazing tour

This was an amazing tour. We were picked up at our hotel on time and Richard our tour guide was knowledgeable about so many things and friendly. He and the boat driver got us right up to the trees to see capuchin and tamarin monkeys. They climbed on the boat and ate out of our hands. We also had the opportunity to hold a crocodile that a local fisherman caught at the dock.

Jungle Animals - up close and personal!

If you want to see animals, this is the tour to go on! We had up front encounters with Capuchin, Howler and Tamarind Monkeys as well as sloths, hawks, iguanas, crocodile, and agouti! The walking tour was a little much for the kids (ages 9 and 12) at the end of the day but our guide Alex was very passionate about what he was showing us. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would recommend it!

Great experience. Alex was a really enthusiastic guide with a lot of good information. We saw several types of monkeys, a sloth and an iguana.
