GoĆ°afoss Waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland. Nicknamed the Waterfall of the Gods due to its history. In the year 1000, Ćorgeir LjĆ³svetningagoĆ°i made Christianity the official religion of Iceland and proceeded with throwing his statues of gods into the waterfall.
The water falls from a height of 12 meters over a width of 30 meters.
