Mandraki Harbour (Pass By)

Mandraki is one of the three harbours in Rhodes. It is famous, because it is believed that the great statue of Colossus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, once stood at the harbour entrance. Today the deer sculptures at the entrance, the St. Nicholas Fortress and a number of medieval windmills create a charming view of the harbour.
Lindos

Lindos is one of the most impressive archaeological sites not only in Greece but also in the world. It has traces of different civilizations. Ancient Greek, Roman, and Byzantine traditions blend here with the Medieval heritage of knights of the Order of Saint John. The visit to Lindos is like time travel via centuries and civilizations! If you go there, you will be delighted not only by the history but also by divine beauty. Take your time strolling the lovely narrow streets of the village abundantly decorated with flowers, fruit trees, oriental tiles, and small fountains. You will be impressed by the incredible view of the harbours. The Acropolis of Lindos is on top of a 116m cliff. For the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Knights of St John, and Turks it was a wonderful strategic position. You can walk up the stairs and visit it or explore the village and its cozy bays.

You will have enough free time in the Old Town after the tour, you can spend it exploring, shopping, dining and come back to your ship moored in 5 min by foot or we can take you there or to your hotel if you come to Rhodes by air.

Touring Rhodes was a fantastic experience. The Old City tour made the experience of a lifetime. Of all the Greek Islands toured (Mykonos, Crete, Santorini) Rhodes displayed the best of Greece.

Went on a guided tour with Margerita (tour guide) and John (driver) Had a fabulous time with Sigma Travel . We went to a number of places, including Butterfly Valley and a local Taverna in Apollonia for our lunch, which this was very nice, included wine and it was really good value. We were kept informed about everything we saw and Margerita was extremely pleasant and polite; answering any questions she was asked. The entire trip was very good and we would highly recommend this to anyone thinking about going on a day trip with Sigma. Only negative was an extremely rude foreign family who had booked themselves on the wrong trip. Margerita handled the situation exceptionally well. Well done Margerita, you are a credit to your company.

Great tour to see the best of Rhodes. Guide went with those who wanted to climb to see the Acropolis. Not much time to grab a lunch so I suggest bringing something to snack on.

It was definitely the most exciting day of our cruise!!!

Everything was great from start to finish. We visited all the sites mentioned and spent enough time at each one. Thanks to Ioanna, we learned a lot about Rhodes, its traditions, and culture. We also tried local wines, honey, and olive oil. Mmm, everything was so yummy!!!!! It's amazing how much we saw and did in just one day—it was definitely the most exciting day of our cruise. I highly recommend this tour!
