Lindos

Lindos is one of the most impressive archaeological sites not only in Greece but also in the world. It has traces of different civilizations. Ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine traditions blend here with the Medieval heritage of knights of the Order of Saint John. The visit to Lindos is like time travel via centuries and civilizations! If you go there, you will be delighted not only by the history but also by divine beauty. Take your time strolling lovely narrow streets of the village abundantly decorated with flowers, fruit trees, oriental tiles and small fountains. You will be impressed by incredible view of the harbours. The Acropolis of Lindos is on top of 116m cliff. For the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Knights of St John and Turks it was a wonderful strategic position. You can walk up the stairs and visit it or explore the village and its cosy bays.

Rhodes Old Town is one of the oldest medieval towns in Europe, a maze of kept ruins and cobbled lanes that was once a vibrant and glorious medieval city. It’s just a dream scene for someone who likes to take pictures! The Old Town of Rhodes is a very inspiring place. The medieval town of Rhodes belongs to the World Heritage and is under protection of UNESCO. It is considered one of the few best preserved medieval cities in Europe.

Mandraki Harbour (Pass By)

Mandraki Harbour has been in use since ancient times and was formerly the military port of Rhodes; it was protected from attack by gigantic chains across its narrow mouth and later by the impregnable bulk of the Fort of St Nicholas, built in 1467 and still watching over the marina. Over the centuries the harbor was also a successful and rich trading port but these days its role in Rhodes life is entirely peaceful; a fetching clutch of billionaires’ super-yachts bob in the marina alongside traditional fishing boats and a multitude of tour boats, which depart every day in summer to visit islands off the coast of Rhodes – including Symi and Nisyros – as well as ferrying visitors to local beaches and on diving trips.
Medieval City

Wine is just as much a part of Greek culture as the temples of ancient Greece. Just look at all those statues of Dionysus, the god of wine and pleasure who made it his mission to spread this gift. But going our wine-tasting is about much more than myths and history. It’s one of the best ways to really explore Greece in general and Rhodes in particular. Doing that through wines gets really interesting as you’re introduced to the local grape varieties that give local wines their unique colour and flavour. According to expert feedback of some experienced wine lovers, local wines can easily compete with good Italian, French & American ones.

The cobblestone streets, ancient walls, and stunning architecture really made me feel like I was in a fairy tale. Overall, Rhodes is a perfect mix of history, beauty, and culture. I highly recommend visiting it!

it's like a fairy tale village come to life! The whitewashed buildings, charming cobbled streets, and those jaw-dropping views from the Acropolis were everything I hoped for and more. It was such a peaceful, dreamy spot to wander around, with plenty of cute shops and cozy cafes to explore. Then, we headed to the Medieval City of Rhodes, and wow – it's like stepping back in time! The ancient stone walls and winding alleyways gave it such an authentic, timeless feel. The Palace of the Grand Master was incredible, and I loved getting lost in the rich history all around. And don't even get me started on the food – fresh seafood, mouthwatering Greek salads, and the creamiest moussaka...
