    With an altitude of 1,489 feet this mountain pass offers an exhilarating drive with breathtaking views.

    Take a stroll next to the second largest lake in the English Lake District.

    Castlerigg stone circle is perhaps the most atmospheric and dramatically sited of all British stone circles.

Wow, what a belter of a day. Te best thing we did was to book David from Brook Tours. We booked the all day private tour. We were a party of 4 - me, my wife and her parents. David picked us up on time having previously told us where we could park in Windermere without charge as we were staying in Kendall. The vehicle was clean and comfortable and David was the perfect host and guide. He is passionate about the area that he lives in and we had an informative and enjoyable day full of fun and facts. He is very knowledgeable about the area and took us to places that we would not have found on our own. We were blessed with great weather - September can be a bit hit and miss!!
