Overview

About 75 miles (120km) from Siem Reap, in the jungle of northern Cambodia, lie the ruins of Koh Ker temple - built in the 10th-century by Jayavarman IV. High atop a 1700-foot (525m) Dângrêk Mountain cliff, in the Preah Vihear province, sits Preah Vihear Temple - an ancient Hindu construct built during the period of the Khmer Empire. Visit Koh Ker temple that built in 10th-century by Jayavarman IV in the north Cambodian jungle. It's the group of temples that has over ten temples. These temples are a remote archaeological site in northern Cambodia about 120 kilometres (75 mi) away from Siem Reap and the ancient site of Angkor. Beng Mealea, identical to Angkor Wat, but smaller in size.

Great day trip

We had a wonderful day trip to Preah Vihea, Koh Ker and Beng Mealea. All 3 places are amazing and worth visiting. Our guide had very interesting background information for us and spoke english very well. Our driver did a great job, too. Everything was great and I highly recommend this tour if time allows. Thank you for this great trip.

Memorable experience

My husband and I enjoyed this full day tour which allows one to experience some off the beaten track temples. Preah Vihea is unusual as it's been built over many centuries, by many kings, set on top of a steep mountain with beautiful vistas, and proudly Cambodian again. Koh Ker is a large ancient city with many powerful sacred temples and sites. Our passionate guide Mr Phally and focused driver Mr Vireak ensured a memorable experience.

We had a great day visiting this amazing places. It was a long way to the border, but it was worth. Our guide Mr. Seng was very informative, friendly and helpful. Also our driver did his job very well. All in all a great tour and highly recommend!
