Overview

Amazing adventure in a 4x4 open roof vehicle will give you the sensation of touching the clouds, the nature, plants and fruits. In a open top 4x4 you can stand up to take photos and admire unique and privileged looks at the amazing nature. Off-road experience up and down the mountain avoiding the tourist crowd, wirh a expert and knowledgeable guide. This tour is complete where the green of the mountains merges with the blue of the crystalline waters of the Atlantic Ocean, taking you thru the historical ancient roads and foresty areas, symbiosis between culture, history, nature and gastronomy.

  • Serra de Agua (Pass By)

    name is derived from the historical construction of a watermill used for sawmilling, that was named serra de água, and later became applied to the entire parish.

  • Ribeira Brava (Pass By)

    Ribeira Brava ravine and river valley extends from the slopes of the west-central mountains of Madeira

  • Tabua

    The name “Tabua” derives from a plant called tabua that used to abound in that region, used in the manufacture of mats and backs of chairs.

    One of the most visited points in this area is the Bica da Cana Viewpoint. Situated at an altitude of around 1580 metres, it offers visitors a panoramic view over the imposing mountain peaks of the island. On days with good visibility, you can also see the valley of São Vicente on the green north coast of Madeira.

    Paul da Serra is considered the most important area of the islands groundwater recharge, and their planar structure facilitates the infiltration of a significant part of high rainfall year, while slowing the runoff towards the sea.

    Fanal is one of the magical places on Madeira Island, where there is a vast forest of ancient trees. Take the time to relax and enjoy this wonderful place.

Fun filled 4x4 adventure in West of Madeira.

Excellent fun filled day with friends, we had 12 people in two 4x4's Jose and Roberto were our excellent drivers who were very knowledgeable about the islands natural history and origins, stopping st various sites ,viewpoints and plants to illustrate and finshing In a hilltop bar for a quick lesson in how to make and drink Poncha a nice finishing touch! Jose's knowledge and humour throughout was great, and he clearly set out to ensure we all had a great day, and they certainly achieved it.

Green Devils was an amazing experience. Especially the driver Nunu made the trip unforgettable. Will always recommend Green Devls and Nunu to anyone who asks! Best experience in Madiera so far.
