Did you know that one of the ancient names of Istanbul was “Nova Roma”? That means New Rome because Istanbul was founded as the new capital of the Roman Empire, and this city was organized like Rome so Istanbul was founded on seven hills. In this tour, we would like to show you so many different neighborhoods with different viewpoints. But the most fascinating part of the tour we would like to show you is the highest hill which brings Istanbul under your feet. Be careful you may fall in love with this gorgeous city!

    This is the first bridge over the Golden Horn that connects Old Istanbul to Modern Istanbul.

  • Istiklal Caddesi

    Istiklal Avenue and hidden passages - Istiklal means "independence" and is like an ocean of people full of cafes, shops, hidden alleyways, art galleries, etc.

    This is the most popular side of modern Istanbul. It has a very good vibe and hipster-like atmosphere with the artistic look of its apartments from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is a great juxtaposition of old and modern.

    We will take ferry from Beşiktaş port to Kadıköy port (Asian continent)

    This is the highest point of Istanbul and literally brings the city under your feet. Be careful not to fall in love with the beauty of this magical city. We'll go back by ferry to the European side and leave you to your hotel where we'll end the tour.

    This pretty tower became the subject of so many legends and love stories. It is one of the most important and beautiful landmarks of the city. It has an adorable view.

Estambul en español/ historical tour of Istambul/

The tour day with Apo was amazing; he was an incredible and very knowledgeable guide showing us all the small details and insights that one usually misses when visiting a touristic site for the first time. The tour was filled with his historical, religious and philosophical knowledge that made it even more interesting. Our tour was in Spanish and with a group of family of all ages and Apo was very accommodating with us. He treated us to a very local and personalized city tour that all of our group enjoyed greatly. Memories that we will cherish for life. Would repeat every time I visit Istambul, 100%.
