Overview

Escape London's crowds for a day trip to the picture-perfect Cotswolds for lunch. You'll visit a region that is forever England, seemingly unchanged by the modern world and famous for its beautiful villages and rolling hills. There will be time to visit quaint villages such as Burford before enjoying a fabulous two-course lunch in a traditional English hotel restaurant.

    Our full day tour begins in Burford, where the magnificent high street holds every variety of Cotswold stone. There will be time to visit the tea houses and shops.

    Bibury, overlooking the River Coln, is described as the ‘Prettiest Village in the Cotswolds’ by William Morris. We will have a short walking tour before arriving at Swan Hotel.

    Lunch beckons and what better way to satisfy your hunger than with a fabulous two course lunch in the Swan Hotel situated in the centre of Bibury overlooking the River Coln. The 17th century former coaching Inn serves a fabulous range of traditional cooking, ales and fine wines. (Lunch included if option selected)

  • Stow-on-the-Wold

    Stow-on-the-Wold is a market town located on top an 800-foot (244 m) hill at the junction of main roads through the Cotswolds. We have free time to shop, wonder around and maybe enjoy a cup of English tea.

Tour to Cotswolds

Nicholas and Neil gave us an incredible tour around the Cotswolds! Totally recommend it! Nicholas is a real comedian tour guide who did his best to make the tour interesting and fun—and succeeded.

Great experience from the start! Our guide, st. Nicholas gave great historical facts and anecdotal stories from a locals perspective about the different places in London as we drove by, and did the same on the way and in the beautiful and idyllic Cotswolds towns. The towns were so picturesque and magical! Our driver, Neil, made it possible to drive on narrow picturesque tree lined roads as only a pro could! Great day trip and great way to enrich our trip to London.

London is a tourist destination. The best time to visit is off peak. Visiting places with a guide makes it more interesting because you learn so much more. We used Premium Tours, our guide Eva was knowlegeable and funny and our driver Sunny was excellent.

Enjoyed the Cotswold tour

Really had a good time with our family. The three towns were beautiful and historic. Our teens enjoyed the trip and were not bored, which is not easy. The lunch is optional, but we ended up adding it. It was good, but in retrospect I might have gotten scones at our earlier or later stops and spent more time exploring. There are several pubs, coffee shops, etc.James was a helpful and friendly tour guide and Joanne was a good and friendly driver.

Great day overall! Nick was an amazing tour guide that gave a ton of info, but allowed you to do your own thing once you arrived in each location. Coach bus was comfortable and Sunny made the ride was great. Would recommend!
